Want to give up. New clearomizer suggestions for eGo Twist?!

I'm using both 650 and 1100 eGo-C Twists with CE4 Stardusts and have no issues. My clearomizer is 1.6ml as stated on the tank casing, and 2.8ohm as stated on the inside carto. I just cleaned one today with hot water and some dry burning and it tastes like new. Prehaps you should try a different resistance?

I would head over to DiscountVapers and try out the Kanger T2 and the Mini Vivi Novas. Both hold around 2-2.4mls and fit great on the Twist. I've been using the Kanger's for the last 2 weeks, and to date, these are the best clearos I've found (and I've pretty much tried them all)

I absolutly agree on the T2 , for me it's the best clearomizer out there.
Eric from Discount Vapers also is amazing in his service, you can't go wrong...

So far its good but its brand new...Everything I have tried so far has worked great the first few hours. I will try to pop back in and let you know how i feel about it in a few days.

I am liking the idea of just replacing heads a lot though. I am spending way too much right now trying new things out heh.

So far its been very consistent.

The best clearomizer on the market for the Ego Twist is the Vivi Nova MINI. The full sized one costs more and it's got a higher capacity but it turns your PV into a top heavy mace or scepter. I mean if you're a harry potter fan or something and you like a magic wand, go for it, but the Mini's your best bet.

I don't recommend the Stardust over the Vivi Nova Mini because the tanks crack all the time (they lie, it cracks. That's why they sell replacement tanks for it). Also they have terrible airflow and quality control. They actually cook your juice with the center post getting too hot. They turn my clear ejuices brown from baking them inside the tank. They also leak a lot into your battery's juice well, and out of the drip tip and give you a nice taste o juice in the mouth YUM! They also require cleaning at least every 3-4 days. Go with the Vivi Nova Mini.

I would suggest BEFORE thinking about "quitting" vaping you outta first think about why you started vaping in the first place.

If it was to quit smoking and improve your HEALTH then I would suggest getting a couple boxes of Boge or Smokteck Cartomizers so you have something that is CHEAP and usually reliable, as back ups to your clearomizers.

If you started vaping cuz you think it's "cool" and you are not concerned with your health regarding tobacco usage, then I would put away your batteries and WAIT until some Clearomizers are developed that are actually worth a damn.

I have a tried a few Clearomizers specifically the crystal stardust carts and they are not so hot in my opinion I seem to get a really waxy taste from them no matter what juice i use.

downfall of cartos: the taste. the filling distorts the taste hardcore for me. Also must use a needle to fill so you know the amount thats going in. Just not worth it and im pretty sure they'll fade out hard soon. Ecigs popularity will do nothing but grow and there are some great things coming!! If dripping wasnt such a pain I would get a bulli. I feel like a crack feen dripping into it all the time though.

There are a lot of folks still buying and using tanks which means Cartomizers will NOT be fading out any time in the near future.

Granted things are changing so fast they might not be what we are all using in the future but same goes with all these clearo's that change names and versions about twice a Month.

Second these, no muss no fuss. These are what finally let me put down regular cigs. They are relatively inexpensive, they just plain work and they are very consistent. On top of that they hold a ton of juice so there is not so much fiddling with them Unless you're specifically only looking for a clearo, these are a winner.

Vaping 100% VG, so of course, I'm gonna have a few problems, but I just put in 2 dark juices from AVE tonight and blammmo, it leaks and isn't liking the thick juice too much

I still like them, but maybe the vivi will have a little more 'room' inside for the viscosity?

It could be:
-tank is overfilled
- the plastic silcon cap at the drip tip end inside the tank (with the metal airway attached) is too low and juice is getting into the airway. Using tweezers try pulling it up to obtain a good seal between silicon cap and drip tip.
- chain vaping which is producing condensation- if you're vaping 100% VG there is more vapor than normal- at the end of your vape release the button and vape an extra second.
- missing or dry O- rings. There's an O- Ring at the bottom of the tank- try removing and reinstalling the bottom knurled end cap and wet O- Ring first next push in end cap and next screw tight. There should also be a tiny O- Ring on the drip Tip- if not there the clearo may leak.

Same company, see Thor (Thor Clearomizer). It uses a "universal head", (Universal Clearomizer Coil Head), that fits the Vivi Nova as well as the Vision.

I can tell you that those short wicks are abominations.. Just pulling it all apart carefully and using cotton twine with the original coil rewrapped cured my Vivi Nova. I also tried the Vivi Tank, (unimpressed), and managed to short it good & proper in trying to SS mod it. (That tank will be reused somewhere, but I got irked - and it was working SO nice with SS! ;-)

Other than the Twist being hard to read, my only gripe was the usual fragility of eGo. Mine decided to push in too far and then work intermittently. I'm getting a better vape off my Puck than I ever was the eGo tubes.. Those are now my bang-around-until-death vapes. The eGo 18650 "Mod" has become my at-work vape. Solidly built, replaceable battery - merely the usual fragile head.. Which can be replaced and screwed on. My next project is a mod to fit that 18650 battery, just because I expect it to break down within the next month or 3.

I'm planning to use lots of 100% VG from Johnson Creek. Can you elaborate more on this condensation topic and the remedies? Thanks.
