I only got thru about the 1st 30 pages of the book cuz I found it too hard to understand the dialect...
And who could forget the beginning of this movie, and the poem that was spoken by the old gypsy woman??

Yeah, the beginning of the book is discouraging, but it gets easier to read. I don't know if you start understanding the lingo more or they use less of it as the book goes on. One movie i did really enjoy is another book adaption. Its called "Let the Right One In". There was an American remake called "Let Me In". But I would highly recommend the original.
Two more that hold a special place in my heart for some reason are "The People Under the Stairs" and "Scream". I don't know why, but I love those movies
