Hey everyone! Noc here.

So I decided I want a new tank.

Right now I have 2 1.6ml tanks & 1 3.5ml Smok DualCoil Caro Tank in Silver (even though I usually replace the carto with a single coil one).

The tank works great but I think I want to step it up a notch. Especially with the cone's that I have at the moment.

In the above picture, my eGo Spinner is equipped with an eGo DCT Type-C Cone.
It looks alright but that Type-C cone is made to look flawlessly with the 6ml SmokTech tank.

Here's the Spinner with no cone at all.

& here it is with an eGo Stealth Cone.

I know that I could just buy a 6ml SmokTech tank & match it up with the eGo DCT Type-C Cone that I currently have, but I was looking at some other cool tanks before I would go ahead and make the purchase.

I see they have a SmokTank XL DCT - Locking Dual Coil Cartomizer Tank now so the carto can't slip around & make a mess anymore, but I'm still checking others out.

I also was checking out the SplitFire tank, but that's only 3ml. I'm not sure if they make larger SplitFire's. Also with the SplitFire being only 3ml, what cone/sleeve would look perfect with an eGo Spinner?

Any ideas guys & gals?

-Noc

P.S.
Forgot to mention... I don't really want to dish out anymore than $30 for a tank.
Thanks!

I just got a tank from my local shop for $15 last night. I wasn't sure what it was at first, and the people that work there tend to be pretty clueless on who makes what, they just know prices and how to use it. Upon further googling, it appears to be a Smoktech Ultimate DCT. Pretty awesome. I have been away for awhile, but wanted to come back here and research it if anybody has any info on it yet. Seems to be pretty new. Awesome tank so far though, but I've only had it for a few hours.

Awesome dude. A bit overpriced, but that's normal for B&M shops.

The one you got is the SmokTank XL DCT - Locking Dual Coil Cartomizer Tank I mentioned above. Locks your cartomizer in place so it doesn't accidentally slip out & spill your juice everywhere.

Here's mine on my vamo with my neck carrier my fiancee made for me :)

vamo with DCT.jpg

And yeah, it is overpriced, but they're an awesome store, so I don't mind supporting them and paying a bit extra. By the time you pay shipping, it comes out to almost the same anyway ;) But yeah, this tank is surprisingly quiet. Sounds more like a clearo than a carto tank. The plastic seems to be pretty thick too. Much better than my previous DCT.

Nice Gun Metal finish.

Yeah here's my Spinner with one of my cheap-o tankomizer's lol - it works quite well. The only downside is that it is a 1.6ml tank.

I think I might go with the smoktech tank with the locking feature in chrome. If I don't persuade myself into a splitfire. Not sure how good those are yet.

I love the way the 6 ml tank matches the size of my vamo. By the way, if you're interested in a VV and VW mod, wow. Can't beat this one. But yeah, I've never used anything but 6 ml tanks, as I like how I can just put it in my neck holder and forget about it for a couple of days. Be glad you're starting out when ecigs have come such a long way. Gone are the days where you had to carry 5 batteries and 4 atomizers to make it through a day :)

Yeah haha! That just sounds like a pain in the .....

I actually just got my Spinner in the mail yesterday after having a 650mah 3.7volt battery for about 2.5 weeks.

Didn't have the cash for a higher priced VV, but when I do I'll be sure to check the Vamo out. Thanks :D

I've had 2 Spinners for a few months, but I just got a VAMO about a week ago. I haven't touched my Spinners since, but they are awesome batteries. I never had any issues with them whatsoever.

Heh yeah man. Today I did my first FULL charge of a Spinner. (1300 mah)
Let's just say watched batteries never charge! :D
(It's done charging though).

Can you add food coloring to any e-liquid to make it look... cooler? :p

I strongly recommend against it. I once had a clear Grape liquid that I thought would look cool if I added food coloring to the juice to make it purple. It only turned it green for some reason, and the food coloring clogged the polyfill so bad it ruined the carto, and hense the liquid, too. Lesson learned.

I don't know what coloring the few vendors that were coloring their juices with were, but Juicy Vapor made an announcement within the last month or so that they would no longer do it (possibly because of potential legal issues).

Pluid is the only juice that I know that is still a "colored" juice. The maker announced he will soon be making an orange colored juice called Agent Orange.

Ok man. I'll take your word for it! Haha.

I'd like to check out the pluid but I've heard it can ruin a polycarbonate tank?
Also that it tastes like absinthe? Being a recovering alcoholic I do not wish to vapor any juices that taste like liquor.

Any opinions/ideas?

Thanks.

To me it tastes like black jelly beans, not as strong as black licorice. Sometimes I detect some citris flavor in the background. I was never a fan of black licorice, but this Pluid does grow on you. I find it to be a nice "change up" flavor when I get bored with my regular flavors. Not an all day vape for me.

And yes, I have heard its not friendly with polycarbonate plastic. I have mine in a Triple V pyrex glass tank.
