I don't want to be "that guy" but silver plating is a little more involved than dipping like a strawberry to chocolate. The contacts need to be cleaned and then cleaned again. I don't believe that silver will stick to anything without some help with electricity meaning the solution needs to be postively charged and the contacts negatively charged. All that being said It can be done but a lot cheaper to either have someone do it or buy silver plated contacts. If youre still undaunted check youtube for a tutorial.

Thanks. I checked to see if anyone had done that on YouTube. There wasn't anything on plating brass. I wasn't going to try Til I knew how to do it properly. You probably saved me from wasting an hour or so of my life. I have other mods with copper and silver contacts so ill just wait Til I have my origin's replayed in a few months and take my brass ones w me.

probably a good call. the only reason I know anything about this is because I have had a steel bumper chrome plated and it's a process. I have heard nothing but good things about silver contacts but have never had a high end mod with them and like a lot of things in life the difference you get isn't worth the hassle for the minimal gain. If you have the cash buy a Panzer Mod, i believe it has silver contacts and hit like a truck. I'm ok with my mods hitting like a mid sized sedan as I can't tell enough of a difference

I have an origin clone by hcigar with silver contacts. It's great. I have a warhead customs missile mod w copper contacts. I like the copper a lot. I could have got a launcher clone for about 100 bucks cheaper, but I found it on sale for 115 bucks. It's my main mod. I only bought the origin clone to use in hybrid mode with an hcigar aqua. I have a couple cheapos with brass. I just have to build a little lower resistance coils for the brass to get the same performance as the others, but its not too much difference. I just like to tinker with stuff.
