Well I want to finally start DIYing since I feel why pay $10-15 for a 12ML bottle when I can make a similar flavor for just a few bucks instead. So I am getting my shopping list put together and looking o buy from Wizard Labs. So ill put what I have put together and can someone tell me if thats i might be missing to finally get started.

PG-120ml
VG-120ml
3ml lock syringe (2x)
14ga blunt tip lock needle
16ga blunt tip lock needle
18ga blunt tip lock needle
Some bottles but i have some washing out from juices i have bought from vapor shops

And of course flavoring**but on their site in the flavoring section they different choices like concentrated (TFA) and/or (LA) im not sure exactly what that means and how choosing one or the other would affect the DIY process** So i need help with this...

Im trying to stay away from nicotine, I recently got my way off of it but sometimes smoke juice at 6nic from time to time.

Is this a good shopping list set to order or am I missing some things or overlooking things. If you have read all this thank you for taking the time out of your day to help a newbie. :vapor:

not sure on wizard labs, I ordered my kit from diyflavorshack and since you said no nic
The "SILVER" DIY Kit - No Nic In This Kit
comes with everything you should need to diy

TFA and LA would be the "name brand" of the juice, The Flavor Apprentice or LorAnns

How was your experience with having everything you needed to start DIY with that kit? and you can choose up to six flavors all for $35? I would probably still buy some more PG and VG is i get this kit.

Yep 6 flavors...I actually ordered the "Premium" Kit but they all should come with the same items and at the time that I had ordered for the price it was the best around for what all you get :)

lol honestly I haven't even used half the things in there....but between a 4 year old running around and I'm impatient so I only make juice on the fly and don't steep lol
I used to use the needle nose refill bottle but now I've been using the syringe instead of the drip method, occasionally the bottles with drip tips. Eventually I'll prob find use for the test tube thingies lol
I don't have any of the menthol items as I'm not a menthol smoker and have no intention on doing so, so I added in the comments when ordering if Dawn could remove those items she went beyond that and replaced them with all sorts of goodies and even gave me some more flavors to try to make up the difference of the cost :)

I bought the kit 2 months ago and haven't gone through all of it yet...if i'd quit knocking over the vials lol i'd have more flavors left
the toolbox is just a generic toolbox but it's nice to have to keep stuff in and you can put a little lock on it to keep little ones out and store it on top of the fridge or pantry.

Do you have their email? I tried looking for it to see if I can sub out the Menthol since I would just end up throwing them away.

to anyone else
Is the DIY process hard for someone to just start doing? I have seen many videos on Youtube but still actually doing is always harder than seeing someone else doing it.

no i couldn't find their email either....Dawn is a member here and has a vender forum DIY FlavorShack
however when you place your order there is a notes section that you can place special instructions in and they actually do get read.
I'm thinking to order more flavors but I'm cheap lol and have noticed that their prices aren't as good as others and I haven't tried other vendors (aside from mtBaker's clove...too sweet for my taste) but I so far like all the flavors that were sent with the kit even the ones Dawn personally added as surprises for me to try...watermelon is strong but nice, feel like i'm vaping a jollyrancher :)

as for diy I'm still new myself but it took a moment to understand but I like the eJuice Me Up - Best eJuice Calculator
they have several recipes already saved for you to look through or help you to create and save your own. So far I've made my clove juice, a chocolate banana pudding of sorts and now the watermelon using the calculator. Still working on my morning coffee vape....

difficult na....it's like cooking, finding that perfect blend...the only downside for me is that though I'm a good cook, I cook by smell/taste and my first diy's were crap cuz I tried to do it this way and well you really can't....you have to follow a set of rules because of the nic, vg/pg and flavoring percentages to get it to come out vapeworthy. This is where the calculators help a lot.

Ok I will probably get the kit you showed me for $35 I like the case part of the package since i have the dog in the house, I don't want her accidentally getting into it if i leave it around. They juice calculator seems kinda tricky I have a app on my iphone called juice and it just all seems confusing right now, especially since im not using nic. Im sure when I have everything in front of me it shouldn't be to hard I hope.
