It's been close to three months now that my wife and I started vaping. I started just because I grew to hate my smoking habit so bad after 17 years. I posted in the new members forum not long after starting out. I love my Geek vape Aegis Solo but I'm looking to upgrade to a dual 18650 set up for the longer times between charges at least. It sucks when you leave the house and forget your other fully charged battery and the one in the mod is almost dead after a **##* day. I've been looking pretty hard at the Vaparesso Luxe S kit. Any feedback on the quality? I've read a lot of good things about it but would appreciate any feedback. If I do end up buying one the Green Ape caught my eye real quick after seeing pictures of it a day or so after I started research on the Luxe S haha. It looks killer. I've been reading everything I can about a few kits that would suit my preferences and have learned some things along the way.

If you really like your Aegis Solo maybe have a look at the Aegis Legend or the new Aegis X.
Both very good mods and both dual 18650 battery.
Good luck in your search:)

Agree. Vaporesso makes nice stuff too, so I can’t argue against that kit if that’s what you want to try. Aegis is waterproof-drop resistant etc, if that’s important.

And just because a mod has advanced features doesn’t mean you have to use them... they all still function in VW mode.

A 2 battery mod will last longer, but then what do you do when BOTH batteries need a charge? Do you have an external charger?
I was very interested in this mod by Vaporesso (it's smaller internal battery but would be a great carry around... don't know anything about the tank, but it's a great deal anyway):

Vaparesso Luxe S is an excellent choice, they make great products that last, I wouldn't say anything is better in that price range. Myself I prefer the Gen 220W mainly because I tend towards the regular mods not the 'big screen' ones. They are both great choices.

Another to consider is the EHPRO Cold Steel which is a single 21700, it just works great and is fantastic looking, and feeling, haven't found anything better made for the price. $56-$70 depending on if you want their tank.

Couple of cheaper ones, that are on sale everywhere, which I have as back ups are the Vandy Vape Jackaroo (single 21700) and the iJoy Shogun (dual 18650). I love them both as kits, Jackaroo ($44) virtually indestructible and the Shogun ($35) is just well built and it has really thick resin panels.

goodbye
I have the Vaporesso Luxe kit with the SKRR tank. Great setup with the GT Core Mesh 0.18 ohm coils. Can't go wrong there. I also have the Geekvape Nova kit with the Cerberus tank, which also takes the GT Core Mesh 0.18 coils. Another dual battery kit you can't go wrong with for the price. GeekVape NOVA 200W MOD and 5.5ml Cerberus sub-ohm tank. $30.99

This is the GV Nova Kit on sale

You don't mention your wattage here...this will make a difference if considering a dual 18650 or a single 21700, or dual 21700.

If you are a MTL vaping, the Legened is a great mod, but perhaps a tad on the heavy side. I am hearing good things about the X. I have loved every Vapresso product I have gotten, my most recent is the Gen. It's a 2 battery mod that is surprisingly light and also not big, IDK quite how they did it but the vape is fantastic and it would be a good mod (IMHO) to experiment with TC if you are interested in that.

Good luck and welcome.

I'll piggyback with Anna. I have the Aegis Legend and the new X. I use them both on a daily because I'm just rough on vape gear. Anyway, they are both heavier than other mods out there for sure. The Legend is more of a heavyweight than the X. The fire button on the X feels very cheap and is easily clicked while the Legend has a better button IMO.

You won't go wrong with either one as long as you understand that since they are durable, they are heavy.

Let's throw in another vote for the Vaporesso GEN Mod. It's the mod that makes you forget the fact innovation in the vaping biz has mostly been standing still for the past 3 years or thereabout, and, this mod factually proves that real quality doesn't need to be preposterously expensive either.

The thing I probably like the best about my Aegis Solo is the durability of it. I'm a woodworker so the dust resistance is a huge plus for me. I do everything I can to keep it from getting my dust in or on it if I have it in that environment but I also made a small wood box real quick one day with a lid it fits almost perfectly in to help that situation. I've dropped it only twice surprisingly considering how I am hard on stuff sometimes, the first time it going four feet when I knocked it off me end table accidentally. The only thing I don't like is there are times the cerebrus tank leaks like crazy out of nowhere. I remove the coil once a week and clean the tank, replacing the coil when needed and it still does it.
