So a friend of mine gave me a spool of clapton wire and i build a dual clapton. The gauge is 24/32 btw. And its reading .26 ohm. And im firing it up to 60 watts. The problem was i took like 10-15 concecutive puffs and the mod got a bit warm and i took out the battery and its warm too. Is that normal ? My mod is evic vtc mini and the battery are 25r samsung and a awt red.

60 watts on any single 18650 regulated mod is getting close to the max CDR of any cell. Your 25r is a solid 20amp cell, 60 watts will pull a max 19amps from your battery, that AWT might have an even lower CDR (not 100% sure, but at most it will be 20amps as well).
I would expect cells being pushed this close to the CDR to get warm.

very normal when you push a battery that hard. keep in mind as the battery gets older the internal resistance goes up and the capacity goes down. even long term storage without use will cause some decline. monitor your battery closely. with use the temperature will get higher as the battery ages.

Warm is normal at that level; hot is somewhere between bad news and catastrophic. As said, 60 watts is as high as you want to go on a single 20A battery. That 25R is a good cell (assuming not old or deteriorated) but you're working very close to its limit. The fact it's getting noticeably warm is a clear sign you're stressing it. I personally wouldn't push that AWT (actually, I wouldn't have one) above 45 or 50 watts. AWT are rewraps; you might have a great cell under the skin... or maybe not. The point is, you can't know. I suggest a) you stick with known, name brand batteries from a reputable dealer for future purchases, and b) get some Sony VTC4s for that mod if you want to chain vape it at 60 watts or above. The Sonys have more headroom than most 20A batteries. Still might get warmish at that level, but much less likely to vent.
