RY#4 , Lorann caramel, Lorann maple. I have a 30ml high nicotine bottle of ry4 which I don't really like, so I thought I would add the caramel and maple hoping to get s maple creme taste. OMG, i got 100% Worcestershire sauce . NASTY !!!!!!!

I have had 0 luck with DIY MIXING. I have some unflavored nico juice pg. How many drops can I make a decent flavor with either one of these flavors. Any way to recover this mixture to make something else? lol

If I don't get something right, i'm giving up diy. I have tried watermelon, caramel, and maple. any advice please.

btw, anyone interested in a free bottle of worcestershire sauce flavor.

with fruit flavors a bit of cotton candy mixed with them helps the taste..

there might be a fix with the car/maple mix I have not tested it enough on a atty to say if it will kill the atty or not.. take coffee grounds and pg and heat the pg to infuse the coffee.. then use a syringe and small cotton ball and pull it up and mix it 50/50 with the bad flavor.. this might kill your atty though.. I have made it and it tastes alright like a sweet strong coffee, but i have not used enough of it to see if it will kill the atty

it is hard to alter flavors of premix.. unless it is a flavor that has complementary flavors.. chocolates and most fruit flavors can be mixed and come out pretty good

I don't know how to fix that but don't give up on DIY just yet.

To continue your DIY and Tobacco quest you might want to try to go to the Perfumer's Apprentice thread and look for those who have made recipes with Linda's Tobacco Absolute - try a search of the thread for absolute. On the PA product page there are four tobacco products and reviews under a couple of them. References are made to ethyl maltol crystals and that is what the Cotton Candy is, so it's premixed and it's used as a sweetner too. I don't know how many drops of it you would need but maybe one of the other guys would know. I don't mix tobacco flavors but maybe that will help you. As a side note, if you order you can go to the 'In Development' page and request 3 samples but she wants feedback on those if you get some.

If you continue with DIY may I suggest you get Dan's (scubabattdan) Excel calculator at the top of the main DIY page to start.

The easiest way I've found to use the calculator is to go to the Recipe tab and go to Tools/Protection and unprotect the sheet. That way you can enter your own recipes at the bottom. Enter your recipe (I name mine like Mac's Apple so I know I'm looking at ones I created). If I make another Apple to tweak the recipe I create a seperate line and name that one Mac's Apple2, etc. That way you don't lose the precentages of the first one.

Next, go to the main page of the calculator and at the bottom right box- not the top one - and use the dropdown to choose your recipe you entered. Now, when you enter the info needed in the top left box, Nic, VG, PG, PGA, the one on the bottom right will tell you how many drops of flavor(s) to use for the amount of juice you want to make.

I use 1ml and 3ml syringes without needles to measure my mixes so they are very precise. That way I can duplicate them up to whatever size I want using the claculator after they are tweaked at 3, 4 or 5ml.

You can make specific recipes down to 3ml for three flavors and 1ml for one flavor. I say that because if you mix a 3 flavor mix in a 3ml size, the flavor with the least amount of percentage might not show an amount of drops to use because the amount you are making is so small. You'll have to SWAG that one or make it in 4 or 5ml.
