I have to wonder whether the FDA will try to implement the same warning labels for e-cigs that are now required on smokeless tobacco products.
Probably yes, but... those labels might be only on the bottles of e-liquids containing nicotine. E-cigarettes themselves are not tobacco products as you of course know.
But everybody knows that FDA may implement any rule they think of.

i am sure that eventually they will be required.. when i talk to ppl that sell liquids i have recommended for their own safety and companies safety that putting a warring on the product would be helpful to them..

as far as cartos go.. would just need to go on the box or a piece of paper that is wrapped on it

if i was selling liquids there would be warnings all over the bottle.. all it takes is one stupid person to drink a few ml.. it is called juice in a lot of shops..
HA! That is something that makes me very angry. I am a kind of don Quixote fighting with those "juices" here in Poland. I don't know whether we have to wait until something bad happens...

well its only one simple step to protect the seller.. make a label with warnings...

I was at work one day this paper compactor had a little hole in the side.. large enough to stick a finger in.. no one would be stupid enough to do it.. but someone did.. lost their finger and was payed off well.. the next day they put a warning sticker by it.. if it was there before hand then they would of not had to pay the ..... off..

you get the cases like the mcdonalds coffee.. everyone knows it is hot and not to dump it on their crotch.. now if they where a smaller company they would of ended up paying that person off instead of fighting it and bringing it back to court till they won and did not have to pay up.

Warning: E-cigarette use may lead to quitting smoking, reduced risk of certain types of cancer, whitening of the teeth, and fresher breath.

That sounds way too positive. How about,

"WARNING: You'll put your eye out."

WARNING: Tobacco smoke is more dangerous than a class a lightsaber device. Smoking may lower your force ability, your ability to dodge laser blasts, and is a precursor to walking down the dark side of the force.

I think if the liquid manufactures mandated themselves warning labels on their nicotine liquid it could help us in the long run keep prices down. If the FDA sees the industry going the correct and safe way on it's own we could get left alone. Maybe wishful thinking, but a label saying don't drink this isn't very hard to do.

On a different point if the same grand topic, I'm really tired Of the FDA quoting concerns with the chinease company who's name I forgot as the reason that we need to ban ecigs. Ffs it's a chinease company. How many soup cans, toys, etc from china have lead in it every year? Go test a few American juice mandators. Tell me if those have the issues the chinease ones do. Though I'll give the FDA the findings on the smoke everywhere device. It's a mass-produced and overpriced peice of garbage.

I have wanted to put a kiosks right next to the green smoke (see comment on smoke everywhere) kiosks and put it out of business selling good PVs for 1/3 the price of there's and that would be after a 30% markup. /rant end

Noticed that California e-liquid sellers have to have a warning label- Mine from LiquidXpress says:
"Proposition 65 Warning":
"This product contains chemicals known to the state of California to cause cancer and or birth defects or other reproductive harm."
I called them and asked them about it- evidently they have to say that on nicotine but none of it's really true at all.
