Hey guys and gals, thought I'd say hi and introduce my self, my name is Dean and I've been vapeing for just over a year now, I started as I'm sure most of you did with the little disposable electronic cigarettes from the supermarket, then "progressed" to the rechargeable style of the same thing, after realising I was finishing a carto ever couple of hours I then was on the look out for something a little better that suited my vapeing style "chain vapeing" a colleague of mine turned up one day with a ego-t with a cleromizer on it, I was blown away! I love how longer it lasted, how much more of a throat hit I got etc... Etc.. And ended up using them for around 6 months until recently, my colleague and I were talking about mods after I spotted someone using one whilst buying more e-liquid, I did a bit of research and found that I wanted a Vamo V3 as they seemed to be popular and offer a good amount for the money, before I had chance to tell my friend about them he had already gone and ordered a kamery k200, anyway I received my vamo last week and apart from a few problems I am enjoying it but am yet to find a decent cartomizer/cleromizer etc... That I am happy with, I thought I would try my hand at rebuildable atormizers so have also got a smoktech rsst rebuildable which I am looking forward to playing round with when my wire and mesh arrive. At the minute I am using the x8 tank and cartomizers that came with my friends k200 as he doesn't like it and apart from a few air flow issues it's pretty good.

I have already encounter the o-ring issue with the vamo that I've replaced for a better one and now it seems to be working well.
The k200 tank and carto's however seem to sit flush with the bottom of the vamo sealing off any air flow so I'm having to use it either without the tank or with the tank and the fill hole pin out.
Ive tried using cleromizers but have completely given up with them as I'm sick of getting the dry hits and having to tilt them all the time.

at the minute I'm loving the coconut pineapple and rum juice....banana and blueberry are ok.
And now if its ok I have a few questions I'm hoping someone can help me with,

1, is there any way to improve the airflow on the cartomizers?
2, does anyone recommend a decent 18650 battery?
3, is there a uk stockist for the 801 fusion cartomizers?
4, is it worth getting a decent charger or do they all do the same job?

Thats about it for now, thank you in advance and I hope to contribute as much as I can. ;) happy vapeing!, Dean.

Welcome to the forum, this is a great place for information.

1. You can get more airflow into a cartomizer by unscrewing it from the device a little more. If you are using a cartomizer tank, you may need to slide the tank up more. There is a limit to how much air you can bring in.

2. It depends what you're using it for, I just ordered some mnke 18650's to try out. They will be used for low ohm builds on mechanical mods. If you're going 1.0-1-2 ohms or more in a mechanical mod efest 18650 should be fine. Anything lower ohm in a mechanical mod I would suggest AW IMR or MNKE batteries. If you're using a variable voltage device like the vamo you really don't need a protected battery like the panasonic 18650's. They have protection of their own built in.

3. Sorry I don't know

4. You don't want to use a no brand charger. It's not good for batteries to get over charged and cheap ones can do that. Also, if you happen to drain your battery too low better chargers will safely bring it back to the correct voltage. I would strongly advise a good charger. I use the nitecore 4 bay charger, other people seem to really like them aswell. The best I believe is the pila charger right now.

Since you said you were just getting into rba's I'd reccomend a dripping rebuildable like the igo-l. It is pretty tough at first to set up a genesis style atomizer, I started on rebuildable dripping atomizers then moved up to a rsst and I think it really helped me.

Thanks for your reply, much appreciated, I am looking for some decent batteries not for the safety side of it but my vamo displays that the batteries are too low at around 6.3v when fully charged there only 8.3v. I remember reading somewhere that decent batteries can help with this. Yea I thought a better charger would be the case, the one supplied is ridiculously cheap, I wish I had just ordered the vamo body only instead of the kit because I seem to be replacing everything haha, thanks, Dean.

Welcome to the Forum Dean. My two cents:

1. Get an airflow controller. Ecig Tank Airflow Controller
2. Popular IMR High Drain batteries at present include the AW's, Pannies, MNKE's, etc. Best deal may be: $11.03 Panasonic CGR18650CH Rechargeable 2250mAh 3.7V 18650 Lithium Batteries 2-pack - authentic cells / 2-pack at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
3. Sorry, can't help you on the UK question.
4. Decent chargers are as important as your batteries. Battery safety is critical. Recommend: http://www.fasttech.com/products/0/...ore-i2-lithium-li-ion-ni-mh-ni-cd-smart-batte, or the I4 is nice if there's more than one vaper in the house.

My two cents. Best to you. Good Luck!
