I hated that gold. I just hope the paint holds up. If not, I'll take it apart again.
Looks better without paint IMHO. But now you should be able to paint it if prepped properly and using the right paint.
It has the rugged Kroma look, but a silver version instead. I like it. Might I suggest trying to find someone that does Cerakoting? It's the ceramic paint we use on rifles that fully seals the metal and is meant for heat and wear and tear. You can also get as detailed as you want to with designs, assuming whoever you take it to can/wants to do it w/out charging you an arm and a leg. There's a guy my brother shoots competitions with that does it for fun and charges very little (would probably cost $15-20 to get it Cerakoted). Just an idea.

Curtis Burkel did some great cerakoting jobs for me, back in the early days of SX Minis. He added a layer of clearcoat for extra protection. I was very pleased with his work.
