Was in my local B & M today...

I have very little experience with vape shops, living in the town time forgot. But while on vacation in Florida my friends and I visited a vape shop, all proudly vapeing Reo's. The owner wanted to check them out. He knew what they were but didn't carry them. But every time a new customer walked in he called me over to let them see it. Hopefully being he was smart enough to show them off, he will consider stocking them

Ahh a fellow Keystoner, they're popping up like weeds down here amongst the Amish. Heck we even got a couple of Mennonites vaping. There's one opening up right next to where I work but It looks to be a shady shop. When you got a sign in the window advertising "e-cigarettes, e-liquid, cleansers, and supplements", the eyebrow gets raised! I googled the shops name and there's a kiosk up at the Harrisburg Mall with the same name so me thinks the REOs and I will be investigating when the doors open up.....and leaving a REO card behind!

Alright, now the Amish have vape shops and I still don't, that is truly the limit I have herd about that, but I haven't been to Lancaster in several years. I'm on the other side of the state, near Pittsburgh. I know they are everywhere in the city, but I avoid going there like the plague. Holding out for one in my backyard!

I figured you'd be upstate in the sticks and that the Pittsburg area would have more shops then you could shake a REO at! I've never been into Pittsburg but knew my way around the airport for a time. Hopefully you'll get one soon enough and that it'll be a quality shop.

I actually ran into my first vaper the other day who actually knew what a REO was. I walked into my local B & M to pick up some kanthal and the owner said, "Hey nice squonker, is that a REO?"

I was more than a little stunned because he's the first I've ever met who knew what one was. I've converted a lot of tube modders over to the King of Squonk but meeting one who knew the term before I said it? Red letter day.

Not reo related, but while we're talking about B&M's, apparently one got bombed in our little burg last night.

Schizna just got real (unless the intended target was a liquor store next door, which could be a real possibility - we take our Pimm's #5 Cup seriously).

I heard about that, and wasn't sure where it was at. I wonder what the reason for the bombing was.

That's horrible Papa! I wouldn't be surprised if it was the work of a rival shop maybe? The shop I get the majority of my juice from got robbed several weeks back. The dude that got caught wasn't even someone who vaped, he apparently was a junkie looking to cash in on his next fix. The dude messed up by a) grabbing nothing but cheapest starter kits that were surrounded by the latest and greatest mods and b) the police were sitting literally a few doors down from the shop doing their paperwork! Proper planning and execution isn't a strong point for this fella!

It was in this shop I found the only other REOnaut in the wild, about a year or so ago. Lady comes in complaining that everything tastes burnt and she's looking for new cartos. The one owner asks her what she has and hands her a black and silver Grand! The owner looks over at me and says "Hey look what I got!" It turns out that the lady had just gotten the REO on the advice of a friend and that she was using two 350 batteries instead of a 650 battery! I squared her away by telling her to get the proper batteries and go to Robs website and to here if she ran into any other problems....She wasn't from this area so I wonder how it all worked out for her.

'Vancouver', like most urban areas, is a collection of cities and communities and locals refer to the area as the Lower Mainland. This happened in Langley, about 4 cites east of Vancouver, proper. It's a nice community - hardly an urban jungle.

Apparently, the device was placed next to a gas outlet on the exterior of the shop, which looks like it's in a strip mall. It might be that the perp targeted the outlet for maximum boom and that the vape shop just happened to be right next to it.

Doesn't look like theft was the goal, though - lots of less damaging and less conspicuous ways of gaining access to the goodies.
