Erm..ya.I want to replace tank like maybe crack then don't need to buy new one and I need a lot of tank so buying that much is not worth it.Better DIY.
You are better off getting the BDV SS tanks, if you are talking about 'in the long run'. Unless you have obligations to worry about, I agree with Madshock totally...

U planning to DIY a tank yourself? Now the price of DCT are pretty ok lei. HC sells them for 9USD i think.

TBH, I find that it wont save much due to shipping from overseas.

unless u go the 20ml syringe way..

those at HC has this built in flangefor the carts...any concern if I use those without?

Im pretty sure you can still use the usual DC cartos without flanges too. The flanges are there to prevent the tank from sliding TOO LOW down the cart, it should still be airtight with the O rings inside. Nothing a Vase Driptip cant do as well tho not as permanent. Sliding tanks are common problems.

Edit: After some analyzing, I realized that the Flanges are pretty useless. What we are afraid of is the tank SLIDING UP, NOT Down. The Flanges are prolly useful for people using those standard batteries that are Flushed with the cartos.

eh i'm using a st dct with lr dc cartos w/o flange. it works excepts it slides if i grab the tank body and try to remove the driptip lol (w/o battery). also the tank tends to turn around but no leaking so far.. (however i still dun like the flavor/taste of cartos leh =/)

Common tank problem really. A Vase driptip should prevent it from sliding up too far up till it unseals itself. all tanks no matter what type, ex or not ex or those Big daddy ....z have the same problem.

Oh and i believe the flange also prevents the tank from twisting. Didnt notice that earlier.

For flavours i cant comment much, everyone's taste is diff i guess.

Erm, no. Nothing happened to my Big Daddy tank. NONE of the sliding issues. Never ending turns, NO. Slide up or down, NO.

Maybe it's bcos of the SS caps, I dunno... But I can hold onto my SS BD sh!tz tank by the polycarbonate tube without drip tip, and without fear of it sliding down. :D

Here's pix for illustration.

P.S: Yes. There's 2x 18650s in the box. Which should pretty much convince you the sh!tz BD makes!! :D

And no, I'm not currying BD tanks.

You know what they say. Once you start dripping, the saliva starts leaking. :pervy:
