Keep your eyes open for new stricter smoking ordinances on the local level. Last week Alameda Ca. introduced a more strict non smoking ordinance and the staffer that wrote the amendment included e-cigarettes. A couple of people at the council meeting gave them an introdutory education to e-cigs and they removed references to e-cigs from the proposed ordinance. They need to know and we have to tell them. Keep your eyes opn for this stuff in your city.

Can't really blame these politicians. They're protecting kids from smoking anything, which includes e-cigs.

We'll really never know how far this vaping business goes. Unscrupulous people might introduced something lethal other than VG/PG. We'll never know. vaping, itself, although relatively safe is not something you would want to introduce to your kids. It's not non-addictive. It's also expensive. Before you know it, kid a sports the best e-cig gear and brags about it. Kid b follows and there you go, another distraction for them in a world already full of it. Result: lost of focus in school work.

I don't like legislating to the lowest common denominator with "think of the children" campaigns. That line of thinking will get everything banned: alcohol, coffee, sugar, fatty foods, violent video games, rap music, rock music, public displays of affection, dancing... you name it, someone wants to ban it. PC has already gotten out of control.
