Hi folks,

i did a search and I could not find anything related to the subject as above..
firstly, I have stopped analogue for about 6mths and has since started vaping..

Every now and then, I have friends telling me not to vape as it will cause water in lungs!
and of course I told him as long as we use the more reputable brands of e liquid and try to dry out completely after washing of our atomizer it will be fine..

recently, another close friend of mine told me the same thing about water in lungs from vaping again!!

thats the reason y I decided to post this here and hope gurus here can advice is the myth really true?

thanks for reading and hope to hear some advice soon..
cheers

Tell them next time it's foggy outside that they are not to leave the house and if they do they cannot breathe, otherwise they will get water in the lungs.

I don't think that you'll get water in your lungs strictly by vaping. You'll get water in your lungs when your heart isn't pumping good and those fluids that should've gone back to your circulation stays within your heart and lungs. Just like Razzlematt, I am not a doctor but I have been an Emergency/Trauma nurse for 14 years.

U guys made my day!!
So I think I can confidently tell any of my friends tat this is nonsense if they say tat again

I had a lady come in the store I work at and said a news story ran saying "thousands of vapers" are getting.water.build up in the lungs and it can cause death copd and what not. I told her I have been vaping for 3 years and know quite a few vapers no one has heard of it or suffered from it bunch of ANTZ phooey

Seriously, these ladies really scare us vapers!
They probably heard from someone and are exaggerating on the numbers!

Another thing to add to this frustration - I had a front line staff person call me today and ask what to do about a person vaping in the waiting room of the place I work. I told her leave them alone unless another client complains! She said it looks like smoke! I said it is VAPOR! She asked the wrong person even though I haven't started yet due to my personal anxiety, I believe you all that it's a good thing! So then I asked top dogs who are getting together this smoking policy if vaping is going to be allowed in waiting room. NO! They are planning on making it policy that people cannot vape in the building. Bet they won't smell it if I go to the bathroom! And I'll tell others that.

Water in lungs/copd that sort of thing, that's why I'm dealing with anxiety to get started on this. But I've heard nothing but good from even the people at work who are currently doing it. If there was water in the lung problem, I think it would show up right away!! And think what analogs does to our lungs every day that we use them! People's real physical experience is speaking to me and very encouraging.
