I use now only, exclusively retail eliquid, mostly halo.
These dont contain water.

I read in some places, and in some ejuice DIY calculators that water is somewhat added.
There is any benefit of adding water to the liquid? What are the effects of water on ejuice? What is the range % of recomended water to add to misture? Its safe (pneumonia risks, water on lungs) ?

Exactly what he said. They used distilled H2O to cut down the thickness of straight VG juice because if you are putting it in a normal tank than it would be too thick. I believe that it also depends on the juice company themselves if they use water. I have seen some juices in a 50/50 blend with water and some without. I'm no expert on this but this is what I have seen.

While you *can* use water in your ejuice, keep a couple things in mind. First, you only want to use distilled water because the minerals in tap will mess with your wicks and coils. And secondly, water tends to be a breeding ground for bacteria. There is a chance that using this will contaminate your juice. Personally, if you want to thin out your liquid I would suggest PGA (pure grain alcohol). You can get a bottle of everclear at most liquor stores for this.
