I no sooner snapped the last photo of my new Reo when the rain started coming down. I thought to myself, I need a way to protect this beauty from the rain. Yup, I thought of that all by myself. Impressive, eh? :D

Anyone know of waterproof cases for these puppies or do I need to keep a big ol' ziplock bag with me when I'm out and about?

What is wrong with a big ol' ziplock bag? LOL How expensive do you want this waterproof case to be? What material do you like?

A few people have found cell phone cases that will carry a Grand. Most have a clip on. Best to take it with you and check it. Most of the big department stores sell them fairly cheap. Or online through Amazon if you can't get one locally.

Heh heh..yeah, not many big dept stores here :D Lemme see...there's KMart and...uh...er...hmmm...

I take my PV tubin with me in the Smokie Mountains, but my case is not daily-carry friendly. I do, however, work outside (irrigation=wet conditions) and my wood boxmod keeps chuggin along with me.

Tubing with your mod. Now that's cool. And thanks! That's what I needed to hear. The dive shops have waterproof pouches for snorkeling. That'll do it!

yeah, I was wrong, he makes both styles for either mod, although it's not waterproof, it helps. also, if you really wanna keep out water, you could get a pelican 10 series case. I am pretty sure one of those would fit it, however it could be a pita to get at it.

I have to remove the carto while the mod is in the case. Along the 2hr "drift" there are tranquil areas that allow me a few mins to pull out the mod, screw the carto on and have a few relaxing puffs. Like I said, it's not quick-draw or daily-user friendly, as the boxmod is quite large, itself (dual 18650 VV)
