OK, here's one that I haven't seen yet. It has anti-fall, so I'm assuming that's like anti-gravity and if you drop it, it will just, kind of like, float. Sounds like a good feature to have. I'm not so sure about the anti-pressure. Will it negate the air pressure around it? If I get too close will I still be able to breathe? I'm so confused. Can someone help me out?

I actually have one on order....should be here tomorrow.

It looks to be a bit of an MVP killer.

Yes, it is fugly, but the device is run off a removable 18650 battery, it charges the battery in the mod, so no need for an external charger. It handles 3 to 6 volts and 3 to 15 watts. The trigger is moved to the side and the whole thing is covered with a rubber to provide shock and water resistance.

I'm going to post a review of it sometime next week. At $100 per unit, it's not a bad piece of kit, especially if you are hard on your mods or work in an environment that is hard on them.....(i.e. industrial or construction sites...)

I personally don't work in an environment that requires all that protection, , but I love the idea of an MVP styled mod with a replaceable 18650.....

But you have to love the chinese....Anti Pressure means you can run over it. Anti fall means you can drop it....The videos I've seen from the manufacturer are pretty funny.

I wonder how waterproof it is. Does it have some sort of one-way value to allow for battery venting? So are you going to torture test it p.opus? I'm a bit skeptical that it will live up to all those claims, but maybe.

It is only rated to IPX-1 which is the minimal rating you can give waterproofing and call it water resistance. (IP Code - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia). As a result, anyone who "torture" tests it is voiding the warranty.

However that hasn't stopped people from doing some outrageous things with it, like putting it through the car wash or dunking it in a bowl of water.

Can you scuba dive and vape....not even, but it should survive an accidental drop into a mud puddle or toilet. I may seal it up and drop the bad boy in my sink, just to see.

For me, the "rugged" features are secondary. I've been looking for an MVP like mod with a replaceable battery, and this looks like it fits the bill. The VTR is too big for me.

The "protective ring" they put on it is just the beauty ring that comes with the device. There's something very Innokin about the whole thing. The beauty ring looks like one off the SVD, and the vendor I bought it from verified that the beauty ring from his MVD fits on this mod. The display and controls are very Innokin like as well.

Unfortunately I don't have the analysis gear to test the output so I can only go by taste and "hearing" I should be able to hear it rattlesnake if it does...

This isn't a $300 mod we're talking about, so I don't expect a ton from it, but it might be great for people who want a very rugged mod, or an MVP type mod that we don't have to throw away when the battery dies.

It came in just now and I have to say I'm pretty impressed so far.

The unit is pretty heavy and solid. There is NO button rattle. The 510 connector has good threading. I'd even go so far as it is nicer than my MVP2 threading. Also, the 510 center pin is spring loaded, which is nice. Something I surely didn't expect.

The battery door is held on by an allen head screw. That is a piece just waiting to be lost. But luckily you only need to put the battery in once, as most likely you will just put the battery in and forget it until it wears off. The rubber covering the USB input and output fits nicely, but they put the "hinge" on the wrong side. It's right next to the charging connector. It should have been reversed. As a result the door kind of inpedes your ability to plug the micro usb connector in. This is my biggest complaint thus far. If you don't NEED the water proofing, then it's almost better to remove the thing completely. But then if it takes a dump into a mud puddle, you're hosed. So Mine will stay on.

The buttons have a nice rubberized feel. The display face on mine had a bit of play and kind of a snap when you push it. Not like the MVP.

The fire button has a nice easy throw, clicky but not overwhelming.

Overall this device seems to over-deliver. Haven't taken it for a dip, but I'm sure that's coming.
