I have 2 Protank II's in my arsenal, one with a thick VG juice and another with a watery VG juice. The one with the thick VG juice rarely leaks but the one with the watery VG juice leaks quite often. Does anyone have any solution to this?
I'm currently using cotton and have rebuilt all of my heads with microcoils (11 wraps at 1.8-2.0ohms with 30g Kanthal). I'm going to take a guess and say that maybe it would be better to use less cotton for watery juices... since they tend to expand when in contact with liquid, and will most definitely leak watery juices do to the expansion. I've been sliding in cotton into the microcoil until it is a little snug, and so maybe tomorrow I will try and put less cotton and account for expansion.
On a related note, thick liquids such as Boba's Bounty or HHV's Serendipity will not leak at all, even if you put in a lot of cotton through the microcoil. These thick liquids tend to stick to the cotton pretty darn well.
