I didn't word it properly I guess, in my previous post. I seem to be all over the chart on my watts when vaping. Some times I'm at 6.8 and other times I crank it up to 14 watts. Same juice, same everything....is thus a common thing or am I nuts?

What's your favorite setting on your VW/VV battery if you're running a 1.8 ohm coil?

As a rule I recoil at between 1.6/1.8 ohms and as a starting point I always look on the steam engine site for a wattage that will give me about 200 heat flux for the given coil, that suits my tastes. You may find if your atty has restricted air flow you may need to choose a lower wattage or vice versa
For me it's all about taste not power (wattage)

For my tank (with protank head rebuilt with cotton ) I start with 5 watt after refilling - I tend to fill up to the top, with only tiny bubble of air still in. It will burn at higher wattage. When I vape first 0.2 ml out, I switch wattage to 8-10 watt for 1.8 ohm coil.
Interestingly, in the beginning I am getting almost as good vapor production at 5 watt as later at 9 watt.
