I have noticed since I started diy that with my own juice I am gettin way more vapor production! Not sure why this is - I mix up 30ml unflavored base @ 65pg/35vg then mix 5ml flavored batches. I'm doing this because I like to switch flavors a lot! Reason I am going 65/35 is because all my flavors are pg based so I'm shooting for closer to a 60/30 final mix. But I'm finding way more vapor compared to premade juice! Has any one else found this? Its not a bad thing imo! :)

What ratio of juices were you vaping before? VG makes lots more vapor and less TH, which I love, and which is why I go almost 100% VG with a little distilled water to thin it...

Sorry yes I forgot to mention that! Most of the premade I use is 70pg/30vg - same as I am mixing now.

Possibly, but what Salem said is true nonetheless. All of us in diy at one point or another have recieved varying quality of product even from the same vendors at times. Keep in mind that most vendors to no mix their own nic base, or make their own vg and are simply reselling it at a markup. In many cases you dont know where it came from origonally. It may take some time to find a provider you feel has good quality vg/pg. Just because its diy materials doesnt mean its a better grade/quality of a product.

I have noticed the same thing ...and I too think it is due in large to the better QA and quality of my ingreidents!
what ever it is I like it!...my goal is to try to find 3 or 4 OMG! flavors for me and my wife that I can DIY and then buy large
bulk bottles ov flavore to further reduce the cost!

I am very pleased with my current pg/vg supplier! :)

I have yet to find any of my diy flavors to be so good I can't live without them. I'm sure with some more experience and experimentation I will get there!

So far my favorite is Ecto cooler. VERY tasty! A little too tart for me to vape all day tho. I picked up some tpa ry4 also, and do like it but not the one I was looking for. It is very spicy with a tad of sweet. I added more vanilla but the spicy just takes over. I think I read somewhere they use dk tab as the tobacco base?

All in all though I have only had one diy juice I couldn't vape! I tried a cherry cheesecake - didn't turn out well!! I'm pretty sure it was my fault and may revisit at some point!

Alot of vendors put in unknown additives (thus why thier stuff is a secret) - that can decrease vapor even with 30vg. Also some vendors use the cheapest vg they can buy for more of a profit, as salem mentioned - not all vg is the same.

I notice that organic flavorings decrease my vapor production and i use the same pg/vg % and bottles - so other things can affect it.
