It looks like the camo batteries are auto only - I believe for dripping you would want a manual battery. You don't actually "fill" the carto when dripping; basically you would remove the carto filler, put a few drops of juice in through the drip tip, puff away till the vapor/flavor start to diminish, and then drip again.

OK - I'm trying to understand... please correct any misconceptions. The advantage to a drip tip is purely flavor/vapor production. You need to do a couple drops every 10 mins or so. So this is not really practical for evenings out or at work. I'll still be buying just as many carts, they will not last any longer this way. I take off the little white CAP and insert the drip tip, then drip while it is still attached to a MANUAL bat. Sounds like a lot of "work", no?

The advantages are 3-fold: The contoured design is more comfortable on the lips, they prevent "hot lips" from heated up Cartos, and they are easier to remove for dripping and refills. As for a couple drops every 10 minutes, that is not the case. Drip Tips can be and are used on pre-filled cartos with regularity and are used by Juicers without dripping for hours. Juicers simply prefer them because they no longer need to remove the standard rubber cap, instead the can just drip directly into the Drip Tip. I had a black Delrin one for awhile until I dropped it, then stepped on it in the dark. Personally I always removed the Drip Tip and drip directly into the Carto.

While that is correct for a traditional dripper using an atomizer, it is probably not how most around here will be using the drip tip.

I use it for several reasons. The first reason has nothing to do with filling or dripping at all. I simply prefer the feel of the mouthpiece over the cart by itself. I tried modifying some cigarillo tips to work with a cart when I first started vaping for this very reason.

Secondly, I tend to fill blanks and then top them off on a regular basis. If I didn't have the drip tip I would have to used some tool to remove the white rubber mouthpiece everytime I wanted to fill. With the drip tip no tool needed. I still pull it off when I'm filling, however, as it makes it easier to see how saturated the filler is.

I agree entirely that dripping into an atomizer is a lot of fussing around....and it is not how I use these drip tips at all!

So even though I have no desire to re-fill or top off cartomizers at this time I might still like the drip tip since the carts do get warm sometimes. I would just remove the white cap, insert drip tip and vape away - then toss cart when it's done. No worry about the juice leaking out etc.

Yes,its like a mouthpiece and it doesnt get hot.It just feels nice to vape with.
