I switched to e-cigs full time in early May of 2010. Like many others here, I was a pack-a-day Marlboro smoker for over 30 years.
I planned to take a few weeks to fully make the switch over from analogs, but things don't always go as planned... Sometimes they go
better.
I started out week one by substituting the e-cig for all my smoking except for 4 cigarettes a day. I went on like that for a week, smoking a Marlboro only during my morning routine, at my lunch break, during my evening commute, and before bed.
For week two, I cut back to only 2 analogs a day: one when I got up, and one before bed. Before the week was over, having run out of cigarettes on Thursday, I decided to just not buy another pack. I was officially analog-free.
