Oh Schnarph, you took the wind out of someones sails, I would have done it if it was not you though.
I know, it's kinda lame. Learning is not always fun...

I'm just trying to help. No need to "waste" time posting entries in a contest that is over. "Conversation" is still allowed as always...

Friends?

You have to remember I am a military guy, sitting in the Pentagon atm at work as a mater of fact. I am used to giving people the hard news all of the time just part of the job at times.

Lots of vape maintenance today.

Need new cartos in two of the VVV tanks... An Igo-l needs a new wick which, thanks too a generous pif, will be my first ekowool experience... Need to drill out the existing hole and maybe add a second one to my Nimbus... And I am gonna give the AGA-T another chance later.

Gonna be a busy day!

Actually, think more along the lines of a Clive Barker novel and you're in the ballpark. Or Lovecraft. Really dark fantasy meshed with mythology and human depravity. I like Koontz, too, but his heros are always too wholesome. My "hero" is definitely not. I'm going for a lot more moral ambiguity than Koontz offers in his novels.
Have you read Preston & Childs? They seem right up your genre...
Write the book Tish, I'll be happy to proof it for ya!

I've found that 2mm ekowool with a ss insert has trouble keeping up w/a 0.8ohm coil on my AGA-T2. Going to rebuild it at 1+ohms... just my :2c:

Thanks for the tip. Poor wicking is my biggest AGA issue!
why not just use the ekowool by itself? wouldn't it wick better?
Good question. I'd be interested to hear Schnarph's take on that.

Warning! Rebuildable talk going on here! :p

That's up to you. I haven't had any issues with mesh, even when using 400 mesh and 100% VG diluted only with 3% flavor (really thick). It keeps up, even when firing for 30 seconds straight. I didn't have that kind of luck with any type of silica setup. Although, I don't go below 1.0 ohm unless it's a dripper, ~1.0-1.2 for RBAs. :2c: YMMV, etc
