I know smoking speeds up your digestive system (hence having to take a dump after you smoke) but you gotta let your digestive system adjust and get back to normal. Also, smoking decreases appetite, so you could also have a bigger appetite now. If it's not more than ten or so pounds I really wouldn't worry about it.

I lost about 68 lbs 4 years ago. Started vaping about 1 year ago. In the beginning I lost a little, then I gained that back. I'm holding steady close to where I want to be. I'm at 146 lbs. I really ought to be at 144, and I'd *like* to be at 142. Anyway, vaping hasn't really caused me to gain any. I still eat sensibly and get in a couple of hours of intense cardio a week. I try to be active and limit snacking and eating out. For maintaining a significant weight loss over 4 years I think I'm doing pretty darn well. Part of my motivation is being too cheap and stubborn to go buy new (bigger) clothes. I refuse to do that! LOL.

I've actually lost over 20 lbs in a few months that I've been exclusively vaping. I discovered some of the bakery flavors, and vape those instead of eating the cake. I still love my desserts, but don't have to eat sweet stuff every day. I also started drinking more water instead of diet soda and drinks.

Yep, I gained about 15 pounds after quitting smoking. That makes sense because I remember losing about 15 or 20 pounds when I started smoking at the age of 19. Smoking is definitely an appetite suppressant for me. Vaping doesn't seem to do that for me though.

I'm 5'8" and now up to 148 pounds. Not obese by any means, so I'm not really too concerned about it. My hubby actually likes me with a little more meat on my bones. :)

I haven't gained ANY weight at all...and I don't deny myself that dish of ice cream if I want it...or the burritos, or the pie or the pizza. I eat when I want to eat and stop when I'm full. That's it. When I cut salt almost completely out of my diet I dropped about 15 pounds and didn't even try. When I quit smoking and went to full time vaping (about a year ago) I didn't gain at all...and, in fact, I weighed recently out of curiousity and discovered I actually lost another 5 pounds!

I am disabled, home bound and not very ambulatory at all. No exercise for me. Most of my life is spent in front of my laptop screen with the T.V. on across the room. I eat chips, fruit, popcorn, sub sandwiches...you name it. But only when I want to eat...and only until I'm full. BUT....I vape like a steam engine!! I think actually vaping keeps me away from food much of the time as it satisfies my nervous need for "oral satisfaction". Rather than eating...much of the time I simply vape.

I have some vaping friends who say they've lost weight because the DO vape the dessert flavored stuff. They say that it satisfies their craving for this or that flavor...and keeps them away from the real thing. Makes sense to me. Guess everyone reacts differently.

I taste more and my sense of smell is better...but it hasn't made me want to eat more.

One thing I'm looking forward to once my kit arrives and I dump the analogs, is getting back into exercise. I was very athletic in my youth and even into my earlier years of smoking. When I was in the Marines (which was where my smoking habit began), it was no biggie to puff down a couple of Marlboro Reds and then go for a 5 mile run. Alas, after 20 years, the old analogs have sucked away my ability to do the things I once enjoyed. Actually, this afternoon I'm pulling the old mountain bike out of storage to give it a tune up and looking forward to getting back into it. I'm hoping that once my capacity for exercise increases, this will eliminate any potential wait gain issues and that I may, in fact, lose some of the weight I've packed on the last 10 years or so.
