I'm 6ft 2in . I just weighed today and gained 5 pounds from the last time so I'm 260 pounds. I had to buy a new built today. I mean I know I eat more than I used to because I used to either be afraid of killing my buzz or I'd be to messed up to notice hunger. And yes withdrawal was worse than I could imagine. In my mid twenties I had a mini stroke due to withdrawals. I have extremely high blood pressure and was hoping to improve it by quitting smoking but this weight gain influences now I'm sure. I vape 3 mg so I don't think that's a big deal. But even though I eat more than I used to I still don't eat as much as everyone around me and they weigh less. I made a doctor appointment so hopefully they get it figured out. Thank you all for the kind words and encouragement. I truly appreciate it

I still don't think vaping would be a primary cause for the sudden weight gain, but when in doubt it might be a good idea to try moderating all existing habits while waiting for the appointment and maybe start a new habit of going on regular walks. It helps fitness and metabolism (burning off calories and restoring muscle) and with stress and blood pressure too and you get some free endorfins as a bonus. There are also quick and simple HIIT interval training methods like interval squatting that can be effective in restoring fitness while taking only few minutes a day.

While waiting for the appointment you could familiarize yourself with potential causes such as fluid retention, metabolic disorders or the connection between heart and dental health to see if anything rings a bell and just to be better informed when talking to your doctor.

You should also list any medications you have taken over the last year (probably comes up during the appointment) and check their potential side effects.

This can actually turn into a good opportunity for self-improvement and understanding.

Nah vaping doesnt increase weight. Quitting smoking does though.

Even if you vaped 50ml i bet there is still more sugar in a can of coke. if other people are eating less then you and they are maintaining weight, perhaps they are eating healthier, or your drinking soda where they drink water. Also smaller, more frequent meals helps with metabolism. There are lots of things to consider.

I would guess that a doctor will need to run some tests. That is a fair amount of weight in a short time. I was on holidays and basically pigged out. My normal calorie intake to maintain weight is about 2000-2200. I was eating atleast 50% more food (mostly clean) and in that month i only put on 2kg. 3 weeks later Eating normally i was back to my normal weight.
