So far I have lost 95 Pounds since I started E-Cigs. It was a deliberate overall get healthy plan, made possible by first quitting cigarettes which gave me back my lungs and the ability to exercise. Last year at this time "going to the gym" was something other people did. Now it might take a Blizzard..... to keep me away..

I think if you are so inclined as to lose a little or maintain your weight, vaping certainly takes the anxiety out of the quitting process and should keep your hands sufficiently occupied and your oral fixations at bay to make weight gain a non issue.

Best of Luck!

Yes, I´ve gained a lot of weight, but it actually started 3 months ago when I decided to lower my nic levels.

Not taking diet and exercise into account I'm convinced those who gain weight are those vaping juice low in nicotine and those who lose weight or stay the same I doing the high nicotine juice.

By the way I've gained at least 10 pounds in the 4 months I've been vaping and I'm going to start DIYing my on juice when the supplies get here in the mail and start upping my nic intake.

I've lost about 6-8lb since mid-December when I got rid of cigarettes completely. But, I've also been eating a little better and working out a little because I figured I would gain weight when I switched, but I haven't. So maybe I would have gained a little, but by making other lifestyle changes along with switching to an e-cig, I managed to not gain.

Yes you might be right, for my 3 first months I maintained my weight, and perhaps I even loose some (don´t know for sure) because I´ve started walking more often and eventually for longer periods. In the last 3 months (when the nic lowering began) I started putting up weight. That combine with the fact that this past 2 months have been very stressful for me, and I haven´t had the time to exercise, well this is the result. But I will deal with that later, right now I will keep on until I´m exclusively zero nic

I know normally when someone quits smoking they tend to gain weight... I was wondering if anyone has gained/lost weight while making the switch to vaping.
No. It seems lack of nicotine causes weight gain.

I haven't gained an ounce since I started vaping 7 weeks ago.

I never gained or lost ANY weight when I was smoking, no matter what I ate, no matter whether or not I exercised. When I quit smoking for 5 years, I gained about a pound a month. When I started smoking again, I stabilized at my new (60 lbs heavier!) weight.

15 years later, I started vaping, cut my smoking down to 1/2 PAD from 1 1/4. No weight change. Then on Jan 1 I quit smoking. I've gained 10 lbs. Can't get into my clothes.

I've been on 24 mg the whole time. I am starting exercise very very slowly though, partly time constraints, partly fear from breathing issues in the past.

I'm wondering if that means I need to go to 36? I already vape all day! (And, yes, I know I have to ramp up the exercise faster!)

With or without smoking, I crave very crunch snacks, spicy, salty, and fatty. I'm trying to learn to like salads more.
