You know what's funny? They say cigs are an appetite suppressant, and maybe this is just me, but I feel HUNGRIER after smoking an analog. Especially if I haven't eaten in a bit.

To be honest, when I've quit in the past, the nausea, hot flashes, and anxiety have been so bad that I really don't eat at all. But again, that's just me.

I think a lot of the reason someone may find themselves gaining weight when they quit is because they're filling the oral fixation of cigarettes with food. But if you have an e-cig to put in your mouth instead, I don't imagine that would be a problem.

Basically, YMMV.

...I understand that smoking cigarettes is an appetite suppressant *to an extent* but I have NEVER heard of someone gaining 10-20lbs from quitting regular cigs and switching to a vaporizer...

That seems to be ludacris to me. I suppose you would gain 10-20 pounds if you quit smoking, get frustrated, and then begin eating away your stress. But just out of nowhere? Nope.

I did. Took about 2 to 3 months to gain 10 - 13 lbs.
3 or 4 years at previous weight with little fluctuation.
Switched to vaping. 100% analog one day and 100% vaping the next day. No "urges", no withdrawls, didn't feel like I was craving an analog or anything. Couple of weeks of phlem while my lungs cleared and not much else. No lifestyle changes.
