Weird atty behavior

So I pulled out two 510 atties that I completely forgot that I had. Well I plug them in to my lavatube and they both read 4+ ohms!!!!! :O

Well I try them out and they are both tasting burnt. I take them off and then decide to try again at a lower voltage, well this time one reads at 3.6 and the other at 2.6. ...?

I decided to put them on my egos and try them out, one still tastes burnt and the other is fine.

Okay I put them back on the lavatube, and the 3.6 now read 3.0 and the 2.6 reads 3.4???? And no I am not mixing them up. One is black the other ss.

Well now they are fluctuating between 2.6 and 3.2!!!!! I am so confused. So I decide to debridge them, for no reason in particular, and one hits great (maybe a little burnt) and the other hits almost nothing at all. They still fluctuate every few minutes.

I also tried some of my stardusts and a couple dct tanks and they all read fine on the lavatube.


Anyone run into this before? Or know what is happening?

I just threw them away.... They both kept dropping from 3.2 to 2.0.

It was a Lavatube. Perhaps keep the attys, get a better ohms reader?

Most likely there was some liquid on the battery connection that was affecting the readings.

At these low resistances even a speck of dirt can do that.

Well I tested them on my buddies provari as well and both were doing the same, that is when I decided to trash them
