so this is interesting... im currently using a provari mini with a vivi nova 2.5 mini 2.4 ohms at 2.2-2.4 volts. ive had the tank for over a week with no problems, but just recently have been experiencing a very harsh draw and smaller amount of vapor production... i am using the same juice as usual and am in the same volt range, but its producing about half the amount of usual vapor and a massive throat hit! to harsh to handle! what do i do???

yep the head is most likely dirty and need to be cleaned/changed....
is there any special way to clean the head? i tried cleaning the tanks and just took it apart and set it in hot water then patted the head dry with paper towel. and it hasnt worked right since
I pull the rubber cap off the head and do a few good dry burns until the coil glows. Then I do another quick swish in warm water to get rid of the burnt taste and then pat it dry and put it back together. Works fine so far.
I'm pretty sure the Provari doesn't operate at 2.2 - 2.4 Volts and if it did, a 2.4 ohm atty would be too high of a resistance to use. 2.3 Volts with 2.4 ohms is 2.2 watts... most people seem to prefer to vape in the area of 6-10 watts with a VV device
Hi Billy, In reguards to the whole Vivi getting harsh. You should remove the top, tank outer and the silicone spacer. Run the head under some warm water unitil the wicks seem to be fairly clean. Blow the water out of the crevices. Attach to whatever device you would like to use for power and then do a fair number of "dry burns" ......... Press the button and hold for a few seconds.Release the button for a few seconds. Repeat with press/release until the coil begins to glow. Continue until the whole of the coil begins to glow red/orange. This will burn off any gunk that has built up on the coil and wick area, allowing the proper amount of liquid to be wicked to the heat and vaporized. I do this process every few days when my own coil begins to perform unfavorably. Let us know if this helps it could hepl somone else with a similar issue in the future. Good Luck. Happy Vaping.
