I got my new CE2's and I am SOOOO excited! I LOVE them!

The batteries are driving me up the wall. I love the power, and I adore the vape it gives to these most excellent new cartomizers.

The first set, one started pulsing on and off, wouldn't stop at all. Till it killed itself.
The second one...well it just stopped heating. The light would come on, but no one was home.

I emailed the vendor, Travis at Vaporjunction, and he, without a problem sent me two replacements. They arrived day before yesterday. I just love doing business with that man :)

I'm going to have to email him again, the first one worked great for a day, and now comes on by itself and it will NOT cut off. The button appears to be functional, I even removed the rubber covering in case it was hitting the button inside. It continues to run. Cannot leave the carto on it, it will just overheat it. Yes, it scorches and burns the wick.
The last one, I don't know about yet, my son is using it.

I troubleshoot by trade, so I naturally tried a few things to alleviate the issue. I take good care of my batteries, let them charge fully, don't let them sit on the charger constantly, run them down till they blink, clean the threads, keep leaky carts off of them.

1. A gentle bop to see if perhaps something was loose and was making a connection. No change. A more strident bop, and again, no change.

2. Let them burn themselves dead, a complete recharge to see if that would change the behavior. It appeared to work on one, but when I had packed it, the light started pulsing again.

3. Every single issue appears to be a short of some type, but I don't want to rip it apart to see what's going on inside.

I am pretty distressed about it, I am going to send them all back to him in hopes he can get a credit or something for defective batteries. I think in order to ship these out I will need to make sure they are completely drained of power. Just what I need, a package catching a mailing sorting center on fire, right?

I have scorched two of my new babies, that isn't making me happy. Cleaning them doesn't remove the burnt taste of the wick.

The win is, I got to try the new cartos and those are a dream. The loss is I either need to find another maker of the 3.7's to see if they work better, or, take my chances with Travis's new shipment.

Gotta say, Royal Smokers has pretty much put themselves in a bad light with putting out a product that appears to have a flaw in it's very sexy design.

Ideas, thoughts?
