Weird stuff or is it just me (probably)....... SS

So i got myself to get some SS and see what the difference is. Read the whole thread about SS and took some notes.

Made a very nice .3 Ohm spaced coil, wicked as it should be in a KF5 and started vaping in TC.

First: this thing doesn't get hotter then about 80-90ºC at 25W if i apply more it just burns.
Second: where is the flavour? All iread is that it is better then wire x and z.....
Third: 3 days with using this exclusive SS it gets a will of it own: resistence goes up (doubles when hot) jumping out of TC and leaving me with nothing but a weird taste.

3 days with a coil???? I have read that they should last almost forever. And that it should have the best flavour ever etc. etc. etc.

So who can help me with this before i sell the SS and use Ni exclusive? I'm a single coil guy no fancy stuff, just simple and straight. Using a TFV4, Lemo2, Simba and a KF4 or 5, same result on all..

Wire is from UD, SS316L, 26ga and i'm using a therion from lost vape with all Setup for this wire.....

All I use now days is SS316L (24g to 30g). Never had these kind of issues on a lemo2 up to a goon. Resistance goes up ~0.02ohms when using. I also only do spaced, even with claptons. 194F at 24W? Should be closer to 420F(215C).

Kinda sounds like a short loose lead? Or the mod cannot do SS TC (I use dnas for tc)? It's not set for Ni200 wire is it? You might get these results if it is. Hope you figure it out.

I found the UD SS finiky as well, but was new to it also so figured it might be MY issue. It did however work fine for me in power mode and taste is fine with 24ga 5 wrap spaced usually around .4-.5 ohm using rayon wick. I've moved on to their SS notch coils now and enjoy them a lot. They'll pop out of TC on occasion too but wattage mode works okay if I don't have the time to fiddle it back into TC. They need less power and perform really well imo. Cheers.
