Hello everyone! I have been using the e-cigarette for a while, and more recently I found out, there is weird taste in one of my e-cigarette. I tried changing the tank, with a new tank, but the taste is still the same weird. And I realized that, the one without weird taste will continue the zzzzz... as I keep pushing the button, should the vaporizer is working continuously. But the one with weird taste just zzzzz... for 1 or 2 second and then stops, although I still keep pushing the button.

So I guess, the vaporizer of the one with weird taste is not working correctly?! Or defect? Some one has the similar problem? What should I do? I don't want to lose one e-cigarette, but the weird taste is really uncomfortable.

I'm going to assume you mean that the atomizer stops firing after you keep the button pressed? If that is what's happening, your atomizer is bad and is shorting out. If you have another one, try it and see if it's doing the same thing.

Well yes, I mean the atomizer (sorry for the term, since I am not a native English speaker), and it fires for 1 or 2 seconds and then stops when I still keep pressing the button.

I have two actually (they came in one packet), I tried switching the tanks and batteries, and the bad atomizer does work well with whichever battery or tank, so I guess it is the atomizer's problem. I also tried cleaning it with tissue, but still the same.

What can I do for it? Should I just contact the seller and get a new one?

I don't think the OP is using a cartomizer... said he got 2 in his kit so probably atty...

Edward- what brand and type of product are you using? How long have you been using the same product (the bad one)? All atomizers, cartos, etc. are not meant to last forever. You should be able to get a new one, from the original supplier or from another that sells similar products.

It sounds like a bad cartomizer. I would swap it for a fresh one. Have you tried checking the resistance reading?
They are regarded as replaceable items, from what i have read most people swap them once a week or so, suppliers don't normally replace them unless they are dead on arrival.

There is not so much information about the atomizer, just saying it should be cleaned regularly, and it will shorten the life of the atomizer if I do blablabla....

Alright, so if the atomizer can be replaced, so does it mean I can just find a shop that sells similar products, and I replace it with a compatible one?

Sorry for the terms I used, I am a Chinese, and I am living in Germany, so I would get some terms from German and translate them into English, either by a dict or just by my understanding.

So what I got from the packet are, two batteries, two atomizers, and 5 tanks (or carto?), recharger and so on. And here is the website where I bought the thing: http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B005DOUJ4U , and here is the homepage of the product EGO-T Doppelset 650mAh - Neues Rauchen - elektrische Zigaretten, Liquids und Zubehör .

I also found a shop in the city that sells the similar e-cigarette, with even the same looking ( I am guessing all of them are importing the products from the same factory). So in this case, could I just buy a new atomizer from the shop? (Well the first problem is that, can one buy just a part of the e-cigarette in general? If yes, I think one can also in Germany)

No, you explained it well. That is exactly what I thought you would have. Yes, you can just buy a new atomizer- the cone shaped part. The rest should be fine. You can use any products with a 510 threading also, if you would like to try out some different kinds of things, like the cartomizers. I don't personally care for them, but they are by far the most popular around here, it seems. This is what they look like:

Welcome to the ECF Edward! The suggestion to replace your atty/tank combo with cartomizers is a very good one. +1 tidegirl. Unfortunately, The "T" type devices have, for the most part, been very problematic. Their design was a great idea but the execution of it has not been the best.

Cartomizers will replace your atty/tank and should provide you with a more consistant and enjoyable vape. Yes, there is a bit of a learning curve with them as there is with anything vaping related. Filling, topping up, when to replace (they are designed to be disposable) even the brand of carto that you prefer, Boge, Smoktech, Kanger is something that you'll have to decide for yourself.

If you decide to make the switch to a cartomizer this will also open up the use of cartomizer tanks to you. These will allow for a much larger amount of juice to be available to the carto and will also make it unnecessary to top up the carto. Dual Coil 510 Chrome Tank Cartomizer Yes, I know it says "dual coil" tank but you can use any carto that will fit the tank. I just used this to give you an idea of what they are. Good luck!

Hello! There is no need any more to buy a new atomizer! I just cleaned the atomizer with water, just washed it a bit, and dried it, and now it works very well again! So perhaps there was some duty waste of the liquid remained inside the atomizer, so just cleaning with tissue will not work. I think this is very good to know! And actually this is stated in the instruction, but before, I did not care that enough...
