Weird Taste. I just don't get what's behind it.

Dry burn when you have to reduce power to prevent a burnt taste or get an off taste. Remove cotton, rayon etc. prior to dry burning. Silica wick stays in. I clean my clearo and the wicks in hot water dry with a paper towel then pulse the wicks for 2-3 seconds until they are bright orange with no dark spots. For dual coils the bottom wick takes longer. Then rinse in hot water again and dry.

The easiest way is which clearo do you have? Some types of plastic are resistant to damage.

I will help you with that next - promise. Can you sample any other MBV flavor and tell me if you get the same off taste in the exhale?

My theory is, like a small group of the world (me included) can taste an ingredient in the flavoring company that I KNOW MBV uses and is very probable to be an ingredient in the flavor you taste the same off-ness in from jedi. The other likely option is you dont like lemon vapes (bananas taste like garbage to me on the exhale - no idea why and I LOVE bananas but cant vape them sadly.)

Because you went to a new clearo and tasted the same off taste we have ruled out an old coil, burned insulator etc etc

I'm with CreepyLady on this. A lot of people just love MBV, but some of us absolutely CANNOT stand that whatever-it-is flavor to their e-liquids.

I think I have plastic ones then :)

I tried other MB flavors. All leave the same taste. Its the VG isn't it? Now I can detect the taste when smelling the aroma from the bottle.

No it is Flavor West brand flavoring used to creat the juices. My guess is the one Jedi juice has a FW in it also. I have tried to use FW in a small percentage in DIY even and I just. cant. get. past, that. taste. LOL. Not everyone experiences it, but I sure do! Its sad too, the flavors really are good, Im jealous of those who do not taste it!

Yeah. I was so anxious to try the cinnamon roll. I was about to throw up when I did.

My wife said it tasted really good , exactly like cinnamon rolls. Now that makes sense after you've cracked this case.

But now you got me worried about the plastic tanks. What's the worst that could happen ?

Sorry no intent on worry, cinnamon and citrus have a crappy reaction in plastic. If you leave it in there it will cloud and deteriorate your tank. Basically on a chemical level an ingredient in those flavors has a reaction with the plastic and starts leaching out the BPA. It may take a few days - but its no good and vaping chemical reactions - probably not the best idea.

PS- Tell your wife Im jealous! I so wish I did not perceive that taste. There is a small group of folks who taste it and a large group of folks who do not. Annoying!
