Smoked last night with a lower voltage of 3.5 - 3.7 and no problem.
As I was reading this, I tried upping the voltage and the higher it got the stronger the plastic taste was.
I only have about 0.7ml of juice left in the tank though so could that affect as well?
Read somewhere that novas have to have quite a bit of juice in them.

Not gonna try messing with the coils and stuff as I'll probably screw it up so I'll probably order a different brand of clearos.
Probably just pass my spare novas to a friend or something.
Any suggestions on clearos?
Preferably the same size or bigger.

Bro get an iclear30. I use it personally and its really really good. No problems with taste plus huge vapor. Replacement heads are easily available also. Or you can also try the kanger protank which is two thumbs up too.

It sounds like it may be the silica sleeve in the atomizer head, they can get charred at too high a voltage. I always removed them when using stock heads.
If your pv has short protection and ohm reader, rewicking heads is not hard and cotton yarn is way better than silica imo and I can rewick for pennies, I think 7 to be exact.

IMO mini nova it's kinda a hit or miss.. very inconsistent. If possible switch to a RBA.. it will save you time and more economy in the long run.

What if you half fill the tank with liquid? will this still happen?

Did u prime ur vivi after u fill it with juice? Did u overfill it? Did u lay ur PV horizontally?

Try to take 3 sharp inhales after u fill it with juice, then give a sharp hard blow after the 3 inhales. Let it sit for about a min. Then try vaping.

Bro... i don think laying down the pv with vivi nova does cause the problem i do have a vivi nova and i always lay it down by its side and there is no problem with it.

Well I do agree, I have tried laying my clearos and tanks and dun really have this problem too. But I did have one iClear 16 with this problem. And its just that one. Perhaps its a flaw in the production for that piece.

Well then I guess he should do the priming in order to see where the problem lies.

I might have fill it up to the mark. But now I have 1.6 ml not happen that often. But juices still seen when the tip is pluck out.

When you put back the tip, is it flushed tight with the silicone sleeve?

When it's about half filled not so much liquid came out when Vaped. But still there's quite significant amount accumulated when the tip is taken off. Or the seal might not be completely closed in the atomizer to the top cap. Anyone got any ideas to slove my juice drinking. Thanks in advance.

Ok I will try to prime. I suspect the atomizer seal and the top cap not in contact properly. Any ideas how to rise the rubber cap higher..?

Hi, welcome! I get a weird taste on my Vivi too. Like you, when I vape at lower voltage (3.3 on a Vision Spinner) its okay. But at 3.8 or higher it makes me gag. I've tried spinning and tipping it between draws on higher voltage, to no avail. So I guess I'll join you in the "Low Volt Vivi" club! Lol!

the bubbly sound you heard is probably the juice burning off from the coil. not much of issue.
imagine you drip 3 drops of juice on the wick and you light it up. it also got pi piak pi piak sound..
