I just received a DSE801 and it does have quite a lot of throat hit and vapor as promised. However, the first few times I used it, there was a sickly sweet taste of cotton candy and according to a non-smoker friend, the vapor even SMELLED like cotton candy. This happened with a plain mrlbro cartridge and a blank cartridge filled with menthol eliquid. I thought it was possibly factory primer so I puffed and puffed and puffed...and then made my boyfriend puff on it for a while because the taste gave me a headache and made me nauseous. Tried a brief atomizer coke bath (30 minutes) followed by hot water and drying. STILL- weird, sickly sweet taste.
