weird taste

I have had my super mini for about a week and have tried different flavored cartridges (mostly tobacco and mlb) and they taste like a burnt metal match with a hint of medicine. Is that how it should be? It makes me rather smoke analogs.

Sounds like your atomizer... Have you tried cleaning it? Mine had the same taste and now its gone. Try to boil it, blow it out, or try a new cart. Maybe the atomizer has ran dry. Try to take some cotton out of your old carts and squeeze a drop or two on the atomizer and try that.

Sounds like the atomizer is running dry. 1 or 2 drop of e-liquid on your atomizer should do the trick.

I forgot to add, it has always tasted like this.
And my first drag is always the best , after that I struggle to get a good puff and have to wait a couple of minutes.

Then it might be the primer stuff they put on atomizer.
Well, see if the cleaning the atomizer throughly (in hot water, blow out, and drain overnight) would fix the problem.

While at it, try dripping method (2 drops directly onto your atomizer wick) and vape straight... (with empty cartridge/no filler) you might like that better.
