So I built a .7ohm (2micro coil build) and pop the puppy on my mod and it fires no problem, it just takes a sec or 2 and it's never done that in the past?? I tried another battery and it did the same thing. The coil I had on earlier today before I built this one wasn't doing that. Could it be my build causing it to fire slower?? It's not shorting out, idk whats up

Don't know how well you can see them I wicked the cotton around and over leaving one side open on each coil which is the way I like them. 28 gauge kanthal. And yes both heat up, it just takes a sec, never had this happen before, any help is appreciated
Also you don't even hear the typical "sizzle" for about a sec. I typically only build single coils, but I do build duals like this from time to time

Wow, that's a lot of cotton. What resistance are the coils and how much power are putting to them?

Here's what my Trident looks like with 27 gauge Kanthal and micro coils. I actually use a bit less cotton than that these days. Pardon the gunky coils ;).

I suspect it would be easy to get the cotton in your build too saturated with juice and then it would take a good while to vape it off.

Oh well, guess I'll rebuild in the morning lol

If you're going to be using micro coils, this video is great. Even if you're using another coil style with cotton, this will give you a good idea of how I got my wick like I did and how much cotton is in the middle of it. Pack too much inside them and you'll choke them. A lot of people do it this way ;)

If you're in wattage mode, then the VTR is calculating your power requirements. I didn't realize the VTR would actually fire below .8 ohms.

Yes, it will fire at .6, I typically use micros of 1.3ohms on the vtr and get good performance from that set up. On a regulated mod there's no reason to go that low due to the amp limitation. That may be what it is.
