Well here I sit

Got up this morning got a cig and some coffee, already have a headache, can't breath and coughing. Does this sound like any ones past? I ordered the Riva three days ago and hopfully when it gets here all this crazyness will become my past. I did alot of reading and watching vids on youtube and have high hopes for my future as a nonsmoker and new vapor. Thanks to the world wide web and this forum I'll have a new lease on life as I know it.

Are you going to be using cartomizers, atties....what resistance? Where did you get your ejuice from and what mg of nic will you be using? It all makes a big difference in getting off analogs.

Yep! I can relate. My husband would always say, "how can you put that stuff in your body first thing in the morning?" He didn't understand. It was a habit, I needed my fix. And a good cup of coffee! That was the breakfast of champions! Or so I thought. Breath stinking, clothes stinking, fingernails stained, coughing ridicously, having to go outside in the early morning in the cold because I didn't smoke in the house (read was not allowed). Yes I remember those days. Shoot it hasn't been that long. Five weeks I have been without a cig and I don't regret my PV investment one bit!

Good luck to you! Once your Riva comes you won't even look back! You can vape and drink your coffee and REALLY enjoy it knowing you are no longer putting a downpayment on your own demise. GOOD LUCK!!

I ordered everything from the vapor shop. The Riva starter kit, two batts, two atties, 10 carts(in MRL light 16mg) 1 20mil e-juice(MRL light 16mg). Then I ordered three drip tips, one more attie, 10 blank carts, 1 20mil coffee 16mg, and 1 RY4 26mg.

That should get you started in the right direction. There is a lot of information on ECF on cleaning atties and general maintenance of you pv;please look around, it will go a long way in making your experience in vaping more pleasureable.

You did pretty darn good for your first buy...Nothing I wouldve added to that order, so good work there. As far as tanks, they are fairly new, and some good, some bad reviews. So if you venture into those, your right alongside the rest of us testing them out. There are a couple vids on youtube, But they havent really been out long enough for anyone to consider themselves experts yet, just a couple intermediates that have tore some apart, and tinkered a bit. I have 2 on the way to give my attempts at destroying.

Sounds like you did your research well before ordering. Good job! I didn't cough in the morning, but I did go into a coughing fit when I suddenly laughed too hard. My first symptom disappearing was not having to keep clearning my throat every time I wanted to talk. I always had to clear it well before I picked up the phone.

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised on how well it will go. Just don't rush yourself into quitting cold turkey. Let your body tell you what to do. That way you won't get depression from breaking the addiction too suddenly. YMMV. Welcome to ECF, so many cool people here to help you with support and advice.

Change the coffee to tea and that was me too.

If that's 100% PG juice you might want to order a bit of 70pg/30vg and a bit of 50/50 from elsewhere just in case the 100%PG is too harsh for you when you start. FreedomSmokeUSA, in their non-sampler sections, has some 50/50 juices and many have any PG/VG selectable. The samplers (not available for all flavors) are fixed nic and PG/VG (and they usually toss a random one in each juice order).
