I've had my mini Davide now for about three to four weeks. It's been vaping fine. I've cleaned it out just about once a day, or every other day when I change flavors. I knew the coil wouldn't last forever, but I wanted to see just what happens if you just keep going with one. Well, I got my answer this evening.
For the last few days it's been acting a little funny. Gurgling and flooding just a bit. I thought it just needed to be cleaned. But I had just changed flavors and was right in the middle of a vape when suddenly it stoped working. The lights were on but no vapor was home.
I tried pulling the center pin on the coil out just a tad to see if that did the trick .... nope. So I just replaced the coil with another stock one I had in reserve. Now this thing vapes better then new!!! I'm lovin' it.
So I pulled the old one apart to see what had happened. Sure enough, one of the leads had gotten britle and simply broke. I gutted it and will be rebuilding it soon.
Moral of this story, for any of the newbies that might read this,......GET EXTRA coils!!!! And always keep one with you. You'll never know when the one your using will go.
