I was doing good with vaping. I went from 1-1.5 packs a day to some days none and some days 1 smoke but then the wife and I moves into a new house and during the move she packed away all my vaping stuff. Couldn't find any of it so the weekend of the move I was smoking again. Now I'm back down to maybe 5 or 6 a day. Just a little disappointed.

Consider it a good learning experience for the next time something like this comes up. You already instinctively know you can easily reduce via vaping. With larger perspective of routinely doing 1 pack a day and going down to 1/4th of a pack a day, most would consider that a great accomplishment rather than something to be disappointed with. But I hear you as it does stink to feel like you kicked the habit, and realize you haven't to some degree. Fact is, you will though.

If smoking is the end of the world, then most of us here experienced healthy doses of the end of the world prior to the days of vaping.

Excuses excuses.
I don't see why if you smoked 1 back then you need to smoke 5 now since if i understand correctly yr back to vaping, tbh i don't see why you need that 1 smoke and maybe that's the problem.

that sounds a little harsh, everyone has to find their own way. if cigs weren't addictive none of us would have a problem! personally, I got down to 2 cigs a day (from 2 1/2 pad) within a month of starting to vape. but. I still smoke 2 cigs a day (before bedtime). why? well, because I'm old and I want to and so far I still live in a free country :p
hang in there OP! it's all good!

Haven't you heard the old saying what goes up must go back down again? Same goes for your cigarette count! But if I were to move I would keep my e cigs by me at every waking hour just so I wouldn't be sure to misplace them because in my case I would misplace them and go back to those nasty A-- cigarettes! OMG how can you even stomach them after vaping? I can't even be around people who are smoking it makes me sick...literally sick to my stomach to the point I will vomit! To each their own I guess but I know there is no way in he double hockey sticks I could go back to smoking..I vape now for pure enjoyment, and the vapemail of course! I love my vapemail! :D

The bright side here is that your back down to 5 or 6. It is the ones you have avoided that count!
Moving into a new place is stressful (even if the move is a happy thing) So it is understandable that you reached for a real one when you could not find your e-cigs.
