I have been vaping for a few weeks, and I have enjoyed it. I started off with peppermint, choca toffee, and mocha choca. Then I switch to apricot, green apple, custard last stand. I started vaping to stop smoking and wean my self off all nicotine. Well this morning I noticed that nothing I have in my stock is tasting good, so I fell back to a peppermint tobacco blend. I have been vaping that and only that today, and was enjoying it. Now it does not taste good what is going on? I have about 7 new flavors but they are steeping now, I tried a few of them today but no good. What do I do? Is what really makes me mad thou, I just order more of the flavors I have been enjoying and now when I vape them I can't taste them. Also some of the flavors are tasting hot, like when you hot box a analog. I have cleaned all my heads with warm water and let them dry over night

I agree with the vaper's tongue theory. Happens to me all the time. I usually switch to a different flavor for awhile or just take a break.

Maybe try a different type clearo if possible. I go back and forth between a T2, CE3, and an EVOD, just for a little variety. Sometimes even a slight variation in the delivery device will make a difference.

If you DIY you could try mixing something new.

Sounds like Vaper's tongue for sure. If you're going to vape, you need to drink more water throughout the day/night.
When you get Vaper's tongue, its the best time to vape the e liquids you don't care too much for, but can't get yourself to throw away.
Don't chase the vape when you have Vaper's tongue because nothing you do can fix it right away. You just have to hydrate and wait for it to pass.

Just don't fall for the "cures". I had vaper's tongue for about a week when I first started. People had me vaping hot cinnamon juice, vaping the strongest pure menthol I could find, putting hot sauce on my tongue, eating jalapenos, drinking pickle juice and even straight vinegar, brushing my teeth and tongue over and over, and all kinds of other crazy stuff. Someone even told me that if I put an unused tampon in my mouth and left it there for 5 minutes that would "cure" it. Don't believe 'em. Just wait it out, it will pass on it's own.

We were surprised you actually fell for it! J/K  Switching up flavors helped a bit for me. But, time is really the only cure I've found that works.

When it happened to me... I came on ecf and realized "oh.. its normal" kept on vaping even though I couldn't taste anything... And sure enough: Everything went back to normal.

You can also go to unflavored juice at a slightly lower nic level for a little while. That always helps me. That and water, water, and more water.

Glad you made me laugh, so I won't run out and buy a tampon!! Lol

Maybe you misread and they were actually instructing you to use a USED tampon?

(Okay, ew...I know. Couldn't resist. That's got to be the funniest "remedy" I've ever heard.....)

I think it's just you're brain doing it's thing.

Kinda like cat people who don't know their houses smell bad. After a while your brain reacts less to certain stimuli. I think (I could be VERY wrong) that is what's happening when you get vaper's tongue...you are just getting used to it.

The best defense against vaper's tongue is to switch flavors often.
