Well met people (and some help for Aspire Zelos 2)!

Hey people, well met, my first post here...
New to vaping after 28 years of smoking... Just got an Aspire Zelos 2 kit (with nautilus 2 atomizer) and I was wondering about this: My kit had pre-installed a 1.8ohm coil. In the screen, it said exactly that, anytime. After two weeks and moderate to heavy vaping, coil died and I replace it with an Aspire 1.8ohm coil recommended for Nautilus. Strange thing is that now the screen indicates that the coil is from 1.74ohm to 1.80ohm, meaning that the indication changes a little, where in the pre-installed coil did not. The second coil died normally as well and replaced it, but still, ohm indication changes from time to time. Thoughts?

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on making the switch to vaping. I wouldn't worry about the slight change in the coil reading - I'm currently using the Zelos with an Innokin Zenith tank and 1.6 coil which originally read as just that - 1.6. However after nearly a week of use it's now reading from 1.67 to 1.71 and that's quite normal. I think you did well to have a coil that stayed at 1.8 for its whole life !!

Yep officially not a problem and coils do that all the time. It's just... I don't even know. Some coils resistance change enough when heated to the point it is actually useful, and can be used for temperature control.
