Basically the idea is a mini 18650, re-chargable, 808 based mod.

parts-
(mad vapes)
Coffin Project box
USB plug type 510 charger
808 adapter
White 3mm led
18650
the famous black horn type button
2 Battery holders/connectors
mod1.jpg

All the parts will be here by Thursday.

And yes i know this is putting 12lbs in a 10lb bag
I am somewhat skilled with teh solder. My moms an electrical engineer, i was soldering before i had my short hairs.

Any more exp. modders see room for improvement ? any tips, ideas, comments would be appreciated

I'm normally a 510 user, and made my first several mods with 510 connectors, but it was a constant struggle fitting everything together. The 510 connector takes up so much space inside the case. My last couple of mods, I made the decision to use 808/901 connectors. They're easier to work with and take up a lot less space inside the casing, leaving more room for switches and whatnot. A shiny chrome adapter gets me to my 510 and looks just fine doing it.

So, yeah, I like your design. I've been curious about those coffin cases too. Please let us know how it turns out for you. Last time I checked, they were out of the black coffins and only had white. I'm not a fan of white, but if it's worthwhile it could be painted I guess.

I am kind of ...... though, because on the website people said they were able to make mods from 1 of these cases with an 18650, which is impossible with the normal bottom to the case. so my cool complete mod turned into a mini i have to rubber band closed.mod1.jpg

the board in the picture is my charging setup which wont fit into the 2 cases with an 18650 :(

tested the layout with a AA, and looks like i could easily turn this into a decent 14500 with ic charging
