i've been a long time lurker (i think that is the word) here. now i find out that i have to make 5 posts before i can post on other forums, not just the newbie forum. which is cool, but i wish i had been posting since i made my account.

so, with this first post, i'm going to talk about something funny that happened to me and a few friends at the mall.

we all know who sells at the malls, i'll just call them SE. a friend of mine was the first of us to get a ecig. this was before we knew they existed. this is also before we knew that we could just fill up the cart.

anyway, one of the last times we went there to get new cats we saw eliquid for the first time. it was something like $70 for a bottle... as we were talking about it the salesman leans over and says "be careful of other companies selling eliquid. some of them pee in the bottles"....

i was stunned... really? i mean REALLY? some of them PEE in the bottles? is that a joke? it bothered me, in my mind when people say things like that it means they have done the same thing...so, does he get off on ...... in eliquid bottles?

maybe some of you will think this is funny... ill never forget that day, as it was the last time we went there to get anything. although i do miss the lady that works there, she was all sorts of beautiful.

Yeah, a few months ago I ran into a company named smoke anywhere or something like that. I proceeded to show her my vaporking. She said, "oh, those come from China. Who knows what they put in that liquid. For all we know they are probably trying to poison us." Then she proceeded to show me a piece of paper with an American address on it, as if that was proof that their ecigs are made in the US. Ridiculous sales tactics.

on the real though, they get theirs from the same place as everyone else, china. all they do differently is put their name on the ecig itself, make a nice box and bag to put it in. so what are people really paying for at the mall? lets see.

the mark up
the printing and manufacture costs of the box and bag
printing their name on the ecig
the over head (people gotta get paid)
whatever fees they pay to have a setup at the mall
and there is probably more fees and crap that i dont know about

but yeah, i dont like those people, shady.

Ok, not a popular position but I do have to protest. We're not all that way. The company I work for takes a deep interest in all of our clients success and enjoyment. We encourage everyone to join ECF and learn as much as possible. I'm sure we lose some business as a result, but for the most part it solidifies our clients commitment to vaping and that's the big thing. Brands are a dime a dozen, but I'm thankful for the for those that are doing it right. There's reason to be cautious for sure, but there's also plenty of us that are working hard to create a high standard for the industry.

PS- It all comes from China and I've never heard of any recreational ......!
