Yeah, don't sweat it. We are all (or I would think so) addicted to nicotine, so it's not an easy thing. And we all have to admit that while vaping is REALLY close to smoking, at the same time it's completely different. We've spent so much time in our lives smoking that sometimes it seems like the only thing that will scratch that itch. You already pointed out the fact that you spent two months NOT smoking, so try and focus on that.

Hey, You can vape and smoke at the same time
when I first made the change it took a month
vaping brought my smoking down to 10 ciggs first 3 days then 8
then less and less each week
The only part I had to presser myself on was giving up the last 2 at night
but after 3 days I was ok
I think it went better by cutting down with no presser

We all fall down and most of us try to get back up. We all try to make an itch go away. There is no "one size fits all".

Im totally satisfied with vaping after over 35yrs of analogs and cigars. My mind is convinced its still smoking but my body still likes to emulate old behaviors. Do what works for you and set attainable goals. Try to turn every negative or positive into an incentive to achieve YOUR goal/s.

Have faith in yourself and more importantly for ME, have faith in a higher power than yourself. Don't judge yourself too harshly, i certainly will not and anyone who cares will not either.

sorry to hear about the replapse, but dont blame the stress, cigs have a funny way of making us blame our addiction on ANYTHING! i've been a quitter of many things all my life it seems (in a good way) AA NA, Stinkies, and they all have their influence on us. writing us and telling us is not a great way to forgive your "slips" just say no!

Hey, I'm there with you too, only my relapses have been, ironically, health issues brought on by quitting smoking! And unfortunately cigs and snus ARE the only things making me physically feel better. I know it's short term though and intend to vape exclusively again once I get stabilized.

I know it's possible because I vaped exclusively for 1 month at the start, fell off the wagon for 2 weeks, picked up vaping exclusively again for 2 months, then got really sick and fell off the wagon again. All of these times I've never quit vaping, and right now I'm smoking about 5 a day. But I know they won't help forever and I will completely stop soon. My doc wasn't concerned that I had started again either and knows that I will quit again once I feel better.

So don't sweat it--as long as you're still vaping you're not smoking as much and that's always good.

Not necessarily a good way to show support here, it is eventually mind over matter sometimes, but it's nice to let the op know most of us have been there and you can get back up from the bottom. That 'just say no' crap comes out of peeps mouth too easy, it's good before you're ever addicted to something but afterwards not so much in mho.
