I recently bought a few more vivi mini novas for my ego-c twist and they came with three heads each so I figured I'd use them and then rebuild with cotton ball wick when they burnt up and what a gross taste.
I didn't realize until after I had started to build my own heads with the cotton, how bad the silica tastes. It mutes all of my juice flavors and adds it's own wierd burny/plasticy taste to everything. Also, I find that with the cotton, there's a more airy inhale which is great as with the silica, it's like sucking on a straw while the other end is blocked.
Anyone else ever go from silica to cotton or vice versa?
