I started today with 5 Boge 3.0. I vape at 5 volts with these. The first started at 2.9 and within a couple hours was 2.4. The next started at 3.0 and again within an hour or 2 was down to 2.5. The third started at 2.9 and within an hour was at 2.2. Now I just get E1 or E2 with any of these 3 attached.
Is it just bad luck or could there be something wrong with my Provari?

Hey SMUG, I bought 2, 5 packs from ProVape and the same thing is happening to me...all 10 of them are now reading between 2.2 to 2.4 and this is after 2 weeks use...herhaps GR has a point, time to look at atomizers???? And I also agree that it is not the ProVari that is at fault. We could certainly use some more opinions on this!

I have just had observations through my last two weeks of doing a lot of reading. When I first started everyone recommended the Boges. Now it seems everyone is recommending the Smoketechs and mentioning poor quality control with the Boges recently.

I have tried cartos. I tried the Smoketech XL dual coils on ego 1000mah and I have also tried Boge 3.0ohms on the Provari. I can honestly say I am not a carto guy. I think they loose too much flavor and I have had a lot of luck with 510s for the most part. Had a few bad ones since starting from various vendors.

If you like the cartos, maybe try another brand or at least for now if you have some atomizers give them a shot and see how they do as far as the ohms.

If you are getting an e1 error and the ohms on the cartos are at least above 1.5-1.6 you should still be able to use them as long as you turn the voltage down.

I can use my 1.8ohm 510 attys up to 4.4 volts but if I try 4.5 it errors. The vapor is too warm at that voltage anyway for me and I normally run them at 4.0. Now I have a stock pile of 3.0ohm 510's and I range from 5.0 to 5.7 depending on the juice I am using.

I used to like keeping a few 3 ohm boges on hand until recently... they've been burning out on me pretty quick too, on all my mods :p I use 2 and 1.5 ohm Smok Tech DC's most of the time....usually with a tank. I'm not much of an atty fan, but do have some 2 and 2.5 ohm'ers for my juice feeder GLV-3... my Provari, since i recieved it, has been my #1 mod.... running the 2 ohm dc's at 4.5 to 4.8v, the 1.5's at 3.9v.....i've tossed around 3 of the 1.5's in the trash, each lasting around a month, the 2 ohm'ers have lasted me much longer for some reason.....i've only thrown out one so far, and it's lasted me over 2 months time...mind you, I vape the hell outta these things, having to change the battery in the provari, easily, each day... and thats not even including the other mods i'm vaping also...sitting in front of the tv, i'm usually 2 fisting em lol (different flavors as well lol)....provari in my right, another in my left :p

I have had the same problems with most cartos and I’ve tried Provapes, Iken Vapes and Altsmokes version cartos. If I can get 2 days out of a carto with consistent vapor and flavor I’m happy.

Starting to think maybe the juice has a lot to with it, as an example recently got some ry4 from altsmoke that is lighter in color and thinner than my regular juice a tobacco caramel mix from from Tasty Vapor. The tasty vapor juice will kill the carto within hours in both flavor and reduced ohm ratings. While the altsmoke ry4 maintains the carto for at least a day.

I realize that there is some variation in quality from carto to carto but i can’t vape with satisfaction my favorite liquid past the first filling most of the time.

Not sure how folks are getting months out of these cartos. I went to cartos due to inconsistencies with atty's and its feels much less painful tossing away a $2 cartos than a $9 atty.
