Stated my journey with ecigs quickly realized those wouldnt cut it for me. I have ordered and am waitibg for my Halo Triton equipment to get here. I have seen however that many juices dont react well to the plastic tanks. Did I make an error in getting the Triton setup? Will I quickly grow out of it. I also tried to ask about whether Halo was going to produce glass tanks at some point using there customer service online chat, lets just say I didnt get the feeling it was a welcome question. I have to worry a bit if my first experience with the customer service left me feeling like I was more of a nucience then a customer, I can certainly spend my money elsewhere if that is the typical Halo way of how they make customers feel like. Any thoughts on any of this, thank you.

I use the Halo Triton's and love them, I currently have 8 in rotation with different flavors. Most juices don't crack tanks but if you want a tank cracker juice you can get an adapter to use a glass tank.

Their customer service has always done me and my friends right. :)

for infro purposes, a halo triton kit is ESSENTIALY an ego with a kanger t2 tank BUT with ego/808 threads instead of ego/510.

personaly, i loved that tank, and only melted one... but it helped me stay away from stinkies. after using that setup for 6-8 months, i bought an ACTUAL t2 that was 510/ego threaded, and got a MVP for the battery life.

between them tanks and this rgm2(glass evod), the T2 still puts out more flavor and hold suite a bit more juice. - just remember to tip with the wicks being on top

there are few juices that are "tank crackers". so dont over-concern yourself too much with it this early on.

and if it turns out your flavor profile does turn to those kinds of juices, then get a tank and an adapter that will work for pretty cheap.

you made a solid choice, don't sweat it with the vast majority of juices that will work out just fine.

Kris,
I have been using my Halo Triton for almost three weeks now and it has been perfect. I had a small hiccup with the usb charger which Halo replaced in a couple days, no questions asked. Just like Evie I have several tanks loaded with different e-juice from different e-juice suppliers with zero problems. My favorite from Halo is Tribeca. It has a nice tobacco like flavor.

207 days ago I got my Halo starter kit, Both batteries and both tanks from my starter kit are still working well.
I have 5 batteries and 8 tanks from Halo now.
I have not used any of the so called tank crackers in it though.
I have an ego t battery and a mini protank2 for my glass tank, and my e-fire wood mod( did not like the adapter to put a glass tank on the triton)
It is a great starter kit, easy to fill, clean and use, and they are very reliable.

It is a fine choice for a trouble free start to your vaping adventure.
Just make sure your wicks are allways wet before vaping..by tilting the tank to get the juice up to the wicks

l haven't had any problems with Halo or with the Triton tank system except for an occasional small leak, but then I'm pretty hard on my tanks. I smoke a cinnamon flavor often, which DOES tear up the tanks but that's just a given as far as I'm concerned. I probably have fifteen or twenty tanks so I always have a spare empty on hand for a new juice. Their customer service has been great for me. Sorry to hear you weren't happy with your response.

I'm a fairly new vaper, but investigated a bit before getting one. I started with and will stay with the Triton, but I may acquire some other similar size vape systems from other makers as well. All this stuff is probably made in one giant factory in China anyway, with variations in design done according to the contract. From what I can tell in reading about vape gear, no system is without its faults and each have their pluses and minuses. Everyone seems to want a single "what's best" answer when actually each vaper has to find that answer for themselves. If I like the Triton, there is no guarantee someone else will like it. On the plus side I like the Triton look (I got black) and size (I want something to hold in my fingers- I don't want to palm it- like you would with some of these "mod" ones). The vapor production and battery life is pretty good (but I'd get some spares lest you wind up nicless!). I keep 3 or 4 of the tritons lined up and loaded and alternate between them- this way I can switch a flavor if I desire and also avoid one particular tank ever getting too hot. I have some variance in flavor consistency once in awhile- but usually it's fine (the recommendation mentioned in the manual to keep it on the fuller side is worth following- you can vape it down low but the flavor suffers- even with tilting towards your mouth). I had a few minor leak issues and some gurgle problems. Keeping the stem piece firm and filling to a little below the full line helps for leaks. taking the tank off and giving the parts a dry off and a blow through (you blow through that little plastic shaft) to spit out any extra juice helps for gurgles. I have only tried one other thing besides the Triton- and that's a Kanger Evod glass with an ego twist battery- and although it seemed to deliver vapor faster (although quanity wise its similar to the triton- the Triton just takes a longer draw to get it) the flavor was not that good on all juices I tried, it was like the tank was adding its own character- it was'nt really a burnt taste it was just really funky and I did'nt want to vape with it that much and have used the triton until I find out how to remedy the Kanger Evod glass taste problems I had.

I started out with a Triton kit and was very happy with it. I still use them for a number of my juices. I loved cinnamon and citrus flavors, though, and realized I was vaping the plastic of the tank and getting that crap in my lungs so I bought some ego Twists and mini Pro Tank 3s for those juices. The Tritons stand up to them fairly well as far as flavor and vapor production go. I have three of their vv batteries, along with ten or twelve tanks. I even still have the original 600 maH batteries and use them for backups. I'll probably keep using them for a long time although I'm slowly migrating to the PT3s more and more. Granted, nothing is interchangeable with the Triton system but unless you want to upgrade that's not a problem. I also still order their Longhorn e-juice even though I mix my own for everything else. Haven't found a tobacco flavoring yet that compares to the Longhorn.
