I have a REO grand and a mini... Most of the time I use my Grand, Today when I pick up my mini I noticed a chunk of white stuff on the bottom of the mini (where the screw is) it was stuck on! Had to use force to remove it.. First thing that came to mind was the battery, thought it leaked or explode.. But when i looked at the batter it was fine. And it still fired no problem...For sure it wasn't juice... Any idea guys? If im not using the mini for a week at a time should i remove the battery?

It's always best to always remove batteries when what have you isn't being used, it's for safety and to allow your batteries to gain a lil more longevity. I own flashlights and other items that use lithium ion bats and if the item allows me to remove the bat I always do, its better to be safe than sorry.
Changes in room temperatures can effect your batteries in a matter that can cause issues down the road as well, just be careful with these lithium ion bats..this isn't me fear mongering or what have you on those lines but me informing you on how I deal with these bats and never had an issue (knock on wood).

I would just dispose of the battery the correct way, find a place that allows you to bring in your batteries for recycling purposes. From doing a lil reading ya bat may of went haywire, clean that white gunk and your entire inside of ya Mini. Treat these batteries like hazmat crews treat accidents on a higher level than this cause the gunk that these batteries discharge is harmful to your skin/health.
Also, buy some battery cases to free ya bats from dust and other stuff that can build up around the contact points. Also, if you don't own one you should invest in a multimeter to test your bats on a schedule that suits you. It's honestly best to play it safe and dispose of the bad bat unless someone can chime in and correct me if I am wrong.

So is it possible that the mod was set upon something that would have caused that? I have never heard of this one before.
I'm all about battery safety as well....and if I were to have the same situation & couldn't find another cause, I would probably dispose of the battery as well.

I would take the battery and place it somewhere safe and watch it to see before tossing it. Might not be the batt!
No...this isn't normal. I admit...I've left my batteries in my mods too...and haven't had this problem.
I'm thinking it's not the battery, but some juice or something that dripped down...weird, but I like the suggestion of placing the battery somewhere and keeping an eye on it...you might want to measure its voltage too and just see if it's a dead one now.
